My brother visited your store to get some tea to send to us (his family) in Nova Scotia for Christmas. He said he asked you to pick a nice variety and you did just that. Your tea is fantastic! Flavourful and delicious. As book and tea lovers Mom and i both also really enjoyed the name on the packages "The tea library " how cute. thank you so much for your part in my brothers nice gift. When I visit Vancouver i will surly drop in to stock up on tea ?? thank you!!!!!

I can’t even say how grateful I am to these ladies. I had daughters 19th birthday & graduation all in the same week. Prettiest dresses, accessories & everything we needed. Best costumer service ever, affordable, highly recommend everyone go check out the store. It’s definitely a hidden gem in maple ridge

I have purchased many things from Once Upon A TeaLeaf in Maple Ridge over several years and have always preferred to shop locally and support local retailers. I purchased a Pixie Mood purse ( and at least 5 other Pixie Mood purses over the years) which had a faulty strap fastener which finally broke all together about the 3rd week in March 2023. I went into the shop and asked to exchange it and the owner who had always been pleasant in the past said that I had to contact the company(Pixie Mood) to exchange the purse as she said she would only consider it within 3 months. The disturbing part was was I didn’t even have an opportunity to explain what happened before she said, No , we cannot do anything for you and you have to contact the company. The only thing I had a chance to say was the purse broke and I have a receipt from December 2022. I have spent so much money at Once Upon A Tea Leaf over the years but will not in the future and if asked Iwill definitely share my experience of the poor customer service. There is however another local shop a half a block from this one which I will frequent more often as well a few others in Maple Ridge.I will continue to support local retailers in Maple Ridge, just not this one.

My niece and nephew both bought me teas from here as a Christmas gift over the past few years! Delicious! A real treat!

Had to share here. Did anyone watch Netflix's "The Imperfects"? This "T" shop was strategically placed on episode 10, 10min, 10seconds into the series. The shop looked cool and I saw the address numbers and Google came to the rescue and showed me the exact location. Now I just need to visit Canada sometime and see this little gem. From the look of the rest of the reviews - this sounds like a pretty cool spot. Just curious, did you guys know they filmed the series in front of your store? Anyhow... cool discovery ????

T’s is an unique, beautiful, and whimsical store featuring a wide variety of gift items and special products to treat yourself with! Clothing, accessories, tea blends, decor… their inventory changes often so it’s nice to consistently go in to see what’s new!The owners are a lovely Mother/daughter team who take pride in their shop and are involved in the community. During the pandemic, their clients & staff safety was of utmost importance.Follow them on Instagram in order to keep updated with all they have to offer! Many of their products can be ordered online. This shop is a Maple Ridge gem. And you won’t find better tea anywhere else!

Parked in her "customers only" parking spot, after she was closed. Got ice cream and walked back to our car only to have her waiting outside to tell us it is private parking, and to not park there next time. How exactly can you have customers when you are closed?Business has gone way down hill.

My initial visit to the store was very pleasant and I left excited to try some new matcha. However, it did not taste good at all and nothing like traditional matcha so I returned to the store in hopes of a return or exchange. I was met by a very hostile owner of the store who accused me of "doing this several times" as if asking for a refund is a crime. She was extremely hostile and rude from the start and very defensive. I am very big on supporting small businesses and I mentioned that I really wanted to like it as I would be buying it often since I drink a lot of matcha but she didn't seem too worried about losing a local customer. She did offer me $12 in credit or 40g of tea even though I spent $28 on 60g tea, which I found to be quite insulting. I left her with a donation instead of taking any credit as she also unloaded to me how hard it is to run a business and that I couldn't possibly understand what it's like. She also thought it would be a good idea to continue saying rude things about me as I was trying to leave. It was all very unnecessary and abusive of her.Anyway, lovely staff otherwise and I hope she is at least grateful to those around her as I don't see the store being a success if she was present storefront. I left shaking and in tears but alas I wish her and the staff all the best.

Such an amazing team! My daughter bought a small pixie mood bag….the wrong one…. She was so upset and scared to take it back, it was no problem at all…we called, they said do not worry about it! They looked right away, had the bag, put the bag in the back. She brought it back exchanged and the smile is back on her face! This local shop is about the small joys and I so dig that right now ✌?

First time popping in and thought it was quite quaint. Had the Earl gray lavender and wow it was fantastic. I didn't understand the books, whether you can buy them, sit and read them, or check them out like a library. Was in a rush that day but will be back to discover that part another day and to have another cup of their delicious tea.
