This place is adorable with the most beautiful cupcakes and baked items but also amazing drinks! I got the white chocolate raspberry latte (iced) and my life is changed! I visit Maple Ridge frequently from the UK and this will be my new go to place!

High hopes, that fell a little short. Although the cafe is beautiful, with friendly staff and a picture worthy latte, my complaint (as a former barista) was in the latte. The drink I received was more than half full of foam, and kind of cold, and my friend had the same issue with hers. They have a fancy sugar printer for the top, which was cute, but disappointing that it doesn't taste as good as it looks. A simple fix nonetheless.

We hired Vanilla Bean Bake Shop for our wedding on August 15, 2024 and Taylor was such a pleasure to work with! She was responsive, organized, and I just knew that I could trust her to make the perfect cake and cupcakes for my wedding day! My husband and I are huge Vancouver Canucks fans and Taylor blew us away with what she created for us.
So many of our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious the cupcakes were, I wish I could of had one but I can confirm that the cake was delicious!!

Finally had a chance to stop by this little gem, and it did not disappoint! I tried the peanut butter oat bar and a cupcake, and honestly was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Treat yourself, make sure to stop by and visit!

ABSOLUTE LIFE SAVERS??

I messed up with the dates with them and I thought I was royally screwed. I was ready to just accept the consequences of my action and get a refund and figure something out last minute with supermarket cupcakes because I needed a cake today. The owner, Taylor who was off work, took the time out of her day to call and figure a solution out. I was still able to get the design that I wanted for the event today and the baker(bless her soul because she was reassuring me with her the phone as well) was able to create what I imagined exactly the way I envisioned it despite it being so last min. In terms of taste, I am not the biggest butter cream fan to begin with but even so eating the cream was tolerable for this buttercream hater? aka it was not overwhelmingly sweet and the cake itself was nice and moist!!! Thank you so much for your flexibility today I appreciate it so much. I’m very lucky that I picked the right business for my special day.

The barista named Katrina is amazing! It’s the best coffee I have had in maple ridge. She has great customer service and creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I have been there before when she wasint there and I didn’t enjoy my experience as much. She goes above and beyond. Thanks to her it is my favourite cafe! The food is good, the macaroons are good too. The mini cupcakes on the other hand are over priced in my opinion and taste like they have fake cream which was disappointing for the price.

We ordered an 8 inch cake from Vanilla Bean bakery for my daughter’s wedding at Swaneset Golf Club, upon recommendation from their wedding coordinator. From the initial email to the wedding day, Taylor was friendly, approachable, and happy to create a cake that the bride and groom would love! They wanted a simple cake that would not break their budget, and Vanilla Bean created, delivered, and set up a pretty cake that fit beautifully with their decor and also tasted amazing!! This cake would look even better with a small personalized cake topper (we forgot to order one !)!but is elegant and pretty on it’s own! I highly recommend Vanilla Bean bakery for your wedding cake!

I love this place. It’s a great, unique bake shop located in the heart of Maple Ridge. The sandwiches are always yummy, and the Italian sodas have quickly become my go-to summer drink (shout-out Lavender Vanilla ?). I look forward to my next special occasion for an excuse to try their cakes!

$6 cake slice was not good :( the cake was hard and stale, and flavor is mid at best. The $6 Oreo brownie was a better texture, but the flavor was also kinda mid.

While the shop itself is cute, I don't think I'll be stopping for the baked goods any time soon.

Great service!! Beautiful little shop. I had a Blueberry lemon scone and a Snickerdoodle latte. Both were very tasty!!
