We couldn’t be happier with our wedding cake from Vanilla Bean Bakery. Taylor was an absolute dream to work with; professional, creative and so thoughtful about the details.

Our cake was not only gorgeous with intricate piping and timeless elegance but it was also incredibly meaningful. We chose the Earl Grey flavour as a nod to our last name Gray and it turned out to be the perfect choice.

From the very beginning Taylor’s communication was outstanding. She was responsive, kind and always made sure we felt heard throughout the planning process. Every detail was confirmed with care which gave us complete confidence leading up to the big day. On the wedding day itself delivery was absolutely seamless. The cake arrived perfectly on time and in flawless condition!

Taylor truly went above and beyond capturing both the aesthetic we envisioned and the personal touch that made it feel special to us. If you are looking for a cake that is as stunning as it is memorable we cannot recommend Vanilla Bean Bakery enough.

I ordered my daughters first birthday cake here and her theme was “berry first” I sent a few inspo pictures but they went above and beyond and made it to perfection, better than the photos I showed them. Everyone at her party had so many compliments to give about the cake, it was absolutely gorgeous and equally as yummy! I am going to be ordering all of her birthday cakes from here moving forward and I highly recommend everyone to do the same if you want picture perfect and delicious desserts!

So pretty and delicious! Their cupcakes were an absolute hit at our cat’s birthday party and were perfect with our custom cake toppers.

I’m SO glad they deliver, too! It’s already a lot to throw a party, let alone having to drive around and pick up everything before it starts. The delivery option was a huge relief, thank you!

We LOVE vanilla bean! Always great for a sweet treat and also the takeaway coffee and scones for our client meetings or shoots is fabulous! Everything we’ve tried is amazing! Don’t even get us started on how good the cakes and cupcakes are! ❤️

Delicious cupcakes! Ordered a variety of all the standard flavours and they were the highlight of our event. Easy to order online, reasonably priced and ready early the day of. So moist and tasty even days later (in the fridge). Will order again, 10/10.

We got my husband s 50th birthday cake. Taylor got my vision amd created the most beautiful and delicious cake. It was a work of art , one of the most perfect cakes we ever had. Our guests could not stop raving about the cake.

I have been using Vanilla Bean Bake Shop for my last few novelty cakes and wanted to take the time to share how much myself and my family has enjoyed them! We had a little snafu with my most recent cake but the owner was quick to action and remedied it ASAP. She went above and beyond to make sure that the situation was made right. I feel like people mostly take the time to write negative reviews but I wanted to highlight my overall experience and appreciation towards Vanilla Bean :) My personal favourite was my martini cake, but I love them all! Thank you Vanilla Bean!

Was excited to finally try this place as I often visit many local bakeries. Everything looks so cute on their instagram page

Picked up a togo cake and a few other treats.
The buttercream had no flavour and didnt have the consistency I would expect for a cake. The cake seemed like it was more buttercream than actual cake layers so that was a little disappointing. Cant speak on the other treats I purchased as I bought them for other people.

Not sure if I would give this bakery another shot due to quality and pricing. Perhaps their cupcakes and coffee is better…

Stumbled across this place a few months ago in the mall. The brownies are excellent, and the cupcakes are delicious and just perfect. They also have these chocolate chip cookies that are amazing. I get something different every time. Arguably the best bakery in Maple Ridge.

Ordered 36 mini cupcakes for the teachers/EA’s at my kids school for year end. They not only were delicious, they were beautifully made, the staff at the school raved about them and the service was excellent. Ordering online was so easy and they had them all ready to go with text updates! I’ll definitely be ordering again when I need too!

From the mini cupcake tasting (coffee and sandwich I ordered from a previous order) and then the final birthday cupcake order absolutely excellent! I highly recommend for lunch, a quick stop or your special occasion. Thanks so much to the lovely staff and especially Taylor. Can't wait to try high tea and catering soon.
