Had heard about Charters before our holiday to Haida Gwaii and it did not disappoint! Delicious burgers and the best fries we’ve had since moving to Canada with friendly service too.

This place is a 10/10. The Cajun chicken burger, fried prawns, and chicken wings were all bangers. I didn’t realize the chef and owner was a trained chef who also taught the culinary program at the local university. Makes sense why this food was incredible!

OMG what a fantastic chef and person! We arrived after 9:00 pm, well after closing. Mike felt badly for us and shared the meal he was cooking for his own family!!! So tasty and much appreciated. I cant believe what a wonderful person, Mike is. 5 stars across the board!!

These tacos were unbelievably good!! The smoked salmon taco was possibly one of the best tacos I’ve ever eaten, and the prawn taco is also delicious! Highly recommend!

The scallops were delicious and cooked to perfection. I preferred to eat them separate from the rest of the taco. The prawn taco was also very delicious and very fresh. The cajun chicken burger was good but could have been better without the chunck of cheddar cheese. Service was very friendly.

Stopped in for lunch the other day and ordered myself a Hamburg, believe it or not it turned out to be an upscale burger which I wasn’t expecting especially for the affordable price. I’d recommend place to anyone on the island.
