I sat in the restaurant for 15 minutes before I was acknowledged. There were a total of 8 patrons and 2 staff not including kitchen. The waiter was beside the table I was at 3 times and did not interact. Finally made his way over like it was a imposition. I ordered steak sandwich with fries. The cooked piece of fat and fries arrived. Not good enough to be dog food. Would not recommend for any reason.

Last month, my partner and I ate at Daddy Cool’s our first night in Masset and fell in love with the food and atmosphere there. Cheapest drinks on the island can be found here, five dollars for a pint of beer! We ended up eating at this restaurant every day during our four-day trip. I got to try lots of different kinds of foods. I even bought one of their shirts as a souvenir.!

The service was great until I was trying to pay the 2nd server who was trying to separate our bills. She was getting annoyed because communication was not going as planned. Minus a star for her rude way of communicating with customers.

I love this place, it's always consistent with food, affordable prices, and a Masset staple. The main server is hilarious and the highlight of my visits! It's got a bar side with pull tabs and it's got a dining area. We like to dine-in there for work dinners and it's super affordable for our small organization and still tasty!

Wheelchair accessibility: Both entries are wheelchair accessible and the tables are generally good, just need to move a chair out of the way.

This place is everything I would expect from a rural pub. It’s not spic and span but it’s not “dirty”, a rustic old pub feel if you will. The service was prompt and professional and remained consistent throughout our two hours here. I had the Hawaiian chicken burger with yam fries and chipotle mayo. The bun was a light and fluffy cloud of deliciousness. The chicken breast was grilled to perfection (which is great as I often find chicken is over cooked at pubs) and the chipotle mayo, I couldn’t quite pin point all the ingredients but it was one of if not the most delicious I’ve had as far as I can remember.

Some times it takes real long for service or some times you don't get service because the one waitress is cranky all the time. The other workers are great.
