Some times it takes real long for service or some times you don't get service because the one waitress is cranky all the time. The other workers are great.

The manager is great but the staff is basically disgusted with you when you walk in. I've had waitresses roll their eyes at me when I've asked for water. The service here is absolutely terrible. The food is ok.

Terrible service. Staff hides in the back to try to avoid serving customers...from the elderly lady with white hair, to the gangly fella with the pony tail, even the little phillipino waitress tries to hide as much as possible. You would be lucky to get served at all. Further, they don't keep consistent hours, opening and closing when they feel like it. Further, judging by the state of the washrooms and their laundromat, I would hate to see what the kitchen looks like.

The dining room is seperated from the rest by a door so staff seemm to not be aware when new people come in or when there is a need - there is no way to let them know. French fries tasted like fish - probably deep fried together - yuck! Staff were super nice. Farmers Market type activity across the street when we were there so nice to check that out. Did our shopping at the coffee shop kitty corner to this restaurant and in Old Masset.

I get it - Kitchens get slammed, but at least tell us it will be 90 minutes before we order. Portions were large (except for the special), food was middling. Servers hid when no food came out to anyone for over an hour. Men’s bathroom urinal was overflowing/broken.

I travelled to Masset and stayed there from Feb 19-23rd. I visited this really great place. Awsome people - Nyuuuk-Kenick- Owen-John. Atmosphere was great and warm. Look forward to visting again when I travel to Haida Gwai in future. Cheers to all now and in future Tony
