So first off I am a local and me and my boyfriend only eat at this restaurant and have spent thousands of dollars there. The bar staff and waitresses are all amazing too!! However some of the cooks not so much. Ordered a beef burger on takeout which when I got home and started eating turned out to still be raw!!! Complained and took it back. They wouldn't give me a refund but did say I could have any free meal on the house next time. So a few days later go for my free meal and for takeout again. The cook refused to box my meal to go. So the bartender ended up doing it herself. Oh also a dishwasher who was off shift and eating his own meal offered to go box the meal himself. (Thank you to both the bartender and the dishwasher, you both are amazing!!) But not impressed with the kitchen at all!! What is the difference in putting it into a box instead of a plate??!! Oh wait there isn't but the cook absolutely refused. 2 bad meals and the rudeness from the cook has left a bad taste in my mouth and I won't be back for food anytime soon!! Also will not recommend the restaurant to anyone that asks! Do better in the kitchen before you lose anymore customers!! Bar staff and waitresses you all do a great job!!!

Absolutely beautiful place to eat. Food was great in concept but everything we ordered was slightly over cooked. We had the Firecracker Prawns which were supposedly pan seared, but did not have any searing on them, they seemed to have been poached in the lime cilantro broth (too thin for a sauce) instead. They were overcooked, rubbery and did not have any flavour infused in them. The concept of the dish was perfect, the broth was delicious, but should have been reduced in order for it to be considered a sauce, and the prawns should have been actually seared with lime zest, garlic and pepper before meeting with the reduced sauce. The execution just fell flat especially considering we paid almost as much for these 8 prawns as we paid for the entree.
We both had burgers, and again there was an issue with the execution. The toppings and sauces were absolutely delicious but both of our patties were hugely overcooked, to the point where they were dry and flavourless, like eating a kitchen sponge. Generally speaking burgers are hard to mess up, but some how the cook here totally failed. It is very disappointing to see a beautiful burger being ruined. The only thing that was actually done well were the fries and the gravy, they were both delicious.

They have delicious food and an exciting selection of beer on tap.

We had the firecracker prawns, garden salad with blue cheese dressing and elk sausage linguini.. boy was it good!

They are also the only place in town with a generator so it was nice having a place to hangout when the rest of town has no power in the middle of a storm.

Went for burgers & beers. Pretty decent GF buns available, burger was great! Whistler GF beer on the menu. Our waitress was very mindful of my order, I took a chance with yam fries (shared deep fryer) but she ensured no coating & double (and triple!!) checked to make sure nothing had changed. Was a great meal overall & I didn’t experience any symptoms of cross contamination & I really appreciated the service.

Cute little pub! Wasn't too busy when we went for both lunch one day and breakfast the next! Very friendly staff, prompt service, and delicious food!

The tavern far exceeded our expectations with delicious food, cold drinks and great service. The dining room is so cozy; it feels like we were eating at a friend’s house. We had lamb shank, Kootenay bowl and 2 helpings of agedashi tofu. It’s a gem.
