Heard great things about the chicken here from friends—and they weren’t wrong! Tried it for the first time and was genuinely impressed by how flavorful and juicy it was. Definitely lived up to the hype.
Be prepared for a bit of a wait during the lunchtime rush—it gets busy, and the chicken pieces took about 15 minutes to come out. But trust me, it’s worth the wait.
All in all, a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Oh my gosh!!! Even 1000 km to drive worth it just to try that onion rings!!! Terrific milkshakes!
Maybe it’s the quaint feel of a local food establishment that’s been around for decades. Maybe it’s the menu. The fam dined here and ordered a 3 piece fish and chips for $21 - great value and they were good. Fries too. Nice tartare sauce and slaw. Kids enjoyed the soft serve and ice cream. I’d go back and try the burgers.

Save your money!! Overpriced for very, very mediocre food. Everything tasted old, freezer burned and flavourless. Very poor value for small portions. While options are limited in Nakusp you’d be better off with the samosas from the gas station.
