Maybe it’s the quaint feel of a local food establishment that’s been around for decades. Maybe it’s the menu.
The fam dined here and ordered a 3 piece fish and chips for $21 - great value and they were good. Fries too. Nice tartare sauce and slaw. Kids enjoyed the soft serve and ice cream. I’d go back and try the burgers.

It's that old school pull up diner, get a milkshake, ice cream cone or a burger. Always a nakusp stop as far back as I can go with this town, it's a local staple that needs to be tried once and always again

Tried it for the first time and was genuinely impressed by how flavorful and juicy it was. Definitely lived up to the hype.
Be prepared for a bit of a wait during the lunchtime rush—it gets busy, and the chicken pieces took about 15 minutes to come out. But trust me, it’s worth the wait.
All in all, a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be back!
