What a great way to end our weekend in Nanaimo while attending the Nanaimo summertime blues festival! We ordered the platter for two and we were delighted with everything. The calamari was lightly battered and tender, the souvlaki (lamb and chicken) were easy to get off the sticks and more then enough for both of us. My wife & I have eaten at Alexandra's Bistro many times and tonight did not disappoint. We shared saganaki, excellent. I had veal marsala with alfredo pasta, the veal was so tender cutting only required a fork. My wife had prawn fettuccine, the portions were more than ample, had to take some home.
