once i went to order oysters, but they ran out, and once I ordered soup and sandwitch for lunch and they wouldn't let me leave the restaurant unless I payed one million dollars.

$65 for my friend and I to go into that restaurant and order a soup and sandwich which was on special for $6.99 and a beef dip and french fries which was also around the same price. The waiter refused to show me a bill or give me a receipt. He told me it was add-ons so even at $20 for the cheese they put on my beef dip. He charged us an extra $40 for nothing and then refused to give me a receipt or a bill to prove it meanwhile, the cook is in the back, screaming at me telling me to get out of his restaurant not impressed. We used to go there all time, I will never step foot in that restaurant again. I would rather go to the bold night and have steak and lobster for $40. The waiter is rude, ignorant and scamming. You cannot refuse to give a customer a receipt. You cannot just write on a piece of paper how much I owe for the bill. I couldn’t even read what he had wrote down. There is no possible way. I could hand that to my accountant as it was a business lunch.
Thank you for the worst service I’ve ever had in my life and the most expensive beef dip I’ve ever ate. I guess gold was one of the add-ons in the sandwich.
Been here twice now . Once we had dinner items ( pasta and a burger ) and then we came back and tried breakfast 😋 the food is good . Service can be a bit slow so if u don't have time or patience to wait maybe order for pick up or delivery. Food is worth the wait though but of u have kids bring them something to entertain them while waiting on food .. as there doesn't seem to be coloring sheets or crayons and the waits can be 45+minutes. Front area could use a deep clean but again if good foods the goal this place doesn't disappoint 👌 large portions and very yummy

A pretty good place to grab a meal. Decent sized portions. Service was great too. Decor is a bit dated, and quirky, but it adds to the atmosphere. Check out this place next time you're in the area, or make it a destination for a great meal.

Was just in for a clubhouse and onion rings and hubby had bacon cheeseburger and fries with gravy 🤤 was so delicious and not too long to wait. Will be returning soon. Forgot to take pic before I started to eat lol
