Best food in Nanaimo I swear!!!! And I LOVE the Luna marg <3 food is great every time. I am a vegetarian and I’ve gotten something different each time but the potato/bean tacos are my favourite. Definitely come here :)
Bar Luna in Nanaimo is like a hidden gem! I recently visited and had their tres leches cake, and it was the most amazing cake I've ever had. I've tried many tres leches before, but Bar Luna’s was by far the best. The flavors were so rich and authentic, each bite was a delight. The rest of the food was equally fantastic, and even their drinks were great. This place truly feels like a hidden spot in Nanaimo. Highly recommend!
Went in for dinner on a slow night there wss maybe only three small groups in there however service was still slow and when I mentioned some food came out of the kitchen cold, some barely warm there was no follow-up or any attempt to rectify it. I had tocos and there version of poutine. It tasted amazing, i was just very disappointed by the temperature and lack of care given by the staff especially with so few clients in at the time. Bar Luna is a bit expensive but worth trying...
