They offer a vegan / plant-based Nanaimo bar.
One of many cafes we tried in Nanaimo while going on Nanaimo adventure. They were decent. Not the best ones we tried but good enough to recommend to try! We tried maple and strawberry Nanaimo bars

Best Nanaimo Bar in Town, I can advice the Bar with peanut
On the Nanaimo Bar trail! The peanut butter one was so good that it could have ate the whole thing myself, but I shared. They serve Umbria coffee, which is yummy. They have some lunch items and were out of both strawberry and blackberry lavender Nanaimo bars. Sufficient tables for 2-4 people. Quiet music in background so it's great for conversation. Cute party of old city area with a cluster of shops to wander around.
Must try Nanaimo bar here. Peanut butter is what I recommend

Adorable place, and a classic!
I tried the salted caramel Nanaimo bar, a cheddar peach scone, and a London Fog. All of which were heavenly to us.
The tattooed woman making the coffees was fantastic and went above and beyond to service our table, offering accommodations.
Will be back when possible! Thank you!
Food is ok. Service was ok. Place is super dirty and they never have the heat on. Was freezing in there. Not a place to stay in and have coffee with friends.
Best Quiche in town! Thank you Bocca
My mocha was delicious and not too sweet. Also the service from both women was gracious and friendly at this charming cafe. As for the customer who was angry about lack of WiFi, I don’t know if that has changed but this cafe is too small (and in a city with a shortage of service staff) for customers to use it as an office. Consider the very popular and certainly small Thomas Haas patisserie and cafe in my Vancouver neighbourhood, which no longer has customer WiFi and urges customers to look up and talk to each other.
Good quality latte and Nanaimo bars.
