Absolutely loved this little cafe! Great consistent coffee. Love the oat milk latè which I got multiple times and it always tasted good! The apple brie sandwich is good too. And it comes with pickles!🥒
super friendly staff, again consistently friendly and caring💖 every single person working there has been a pleasure to interact with. Which, to me, matters more than the coffee quality. I never even tried another coffee place for my visit even though I had a list! 🤣 One of my favourite coffee places!

New Update: After a false promise the owner continues to ignore my call or email. I will reach out to the health authorities and take legal action if I don’t get a proper resolution and compensation in a weeks time.
UPDATE: Leon the owner personally called me and apologized and will compensate any damage. The review will be updated once more once everything is resolved.
I had a troubling experience here last week with a ham and cheese sandwich. I found wax paper in the ham, then bit into a hard foreign object solid enough that it made a cracking sound that I feared it could have damaged my implant or natural teeth. I’ll need to visit a dentist to be sure. Management hasn’t responded in over a week, and there’s no phone or email listed. Posting this so others are aware of poor management and hoping to resolve this issue.

On a recent weekend trip to Nanaimo this lovely cafe was just steps away from my hotel. It’s a cozy coffee shop you could curl up for hours in reading a book. I had the avocado toast and a latte and sat by the window on a rainy Sunday and it was absolutely delightful. The toast was perfection! Definitely worth checking it out. I love a great coffee shop and I’m envious that Nanaimo has this gem of a place.

This place feels like a European experience. The thoughtful attention to the decor and placement of displays is right on point. Their food in excellent and I may add their baking is insanely delish! The coffee's and latte's will have your blood pumping and your caffeine fix ready to tackle whatever the day is bringing on. Nanaimo is so lucky to have this amazing little boutique experience coffee shop.

Got the iced dirty chai, iced chai, the waffle flight and Rueben sandwich, the food was amazing, we weren’t a fan of the dirty chai but they were quick to replace with a delicious iced London fog, De Von is great at drinks and customer service :) their attentiveness and kindness definitely made our visit !! Pricey but we had a happy experience all around

As a group of six we were delighted to find such a lovely place to stop for brunch. Dropping our son at university was the reason for our visit. Rick the manager went out of his way to chat with us and help explain what was available. Three of us had breakfast ciabatta, a ham/cheese panini and two lots of waffles. All delicious. Drinks were good, place was spotless. Staff not overly engaging but polite. Rick thanked us for visiting which was a really nice touch. We will return. Many thanks.
