The burrata pizza was disappointing. The kitchen needs to cut up the burrata and disperse it evenly across the pizza, I should not have to do that as the customer. Also, one ball of burrata is simply not enough for the pizza size, the pizza was essentially bread with tomato sauce. The Sicilian New Yorker was slightly better but still about a 3/5. Maybe we ordered the wrong pizzas but I’m not sure how this place has a 4.5 rating. Stick to a classic margherita or pepperoni if...
We eat here every time we come to Nanaimo. The young couple that run it are wonderful and the food is always truly delicious.

The service was great. Friendly, engaging, kind. The prosciutto funghi pizza was soooo good. I would go back. The restaurant was not yet open for dine in so we took the pizza back to the hotel. I feel that this restaurant will have good atmosphere for dine in when it fully opens. Nice decor.
