Just ordered some pizzas from here for the first time and they were DELICIOUS! Probably the best pizza I've had in Nanaimo. Real authentic stone fired pizza style but with a good amount of toppings.
The burrata pizza was disappointing. The kitchen needs to cut up the burrata and disperse it evenly across the pizza, I should not have to do that as the customer. Also, one ball of burrata is simply not enough for the pizza size, the pizza was essentially bread with tomato sauce. The Sicilian New Yorker was slightly better but still about a 3/5. Maybe we ordered the wrong pizzas but I’m not sure how this place has a 4.5 rating. Stick to a classic margherita or pepperoni if...
We eat here every time we come to Nanaimo. The young couple that run it are wonderful and the food is always truly delicious.
