Went yesterday with my friends, and we all loved the fish and chips. The portion was generous and tasty. I wish they had homemade tartar sauce as packaged isn't as good. I will definitely be back. As for specials, they apparently only have all you can eat Tuesdays. I asked. 😊

Friends who know how particular I am with Halibut and chips told me I had to go here. I did that today.........this is now my number one choice for Halibut and chips (hand cut fries) absolutely fantastic. Fresh and hot also ask for the home made tartar sauce. It is worth it.

While the food at Chick to See Express is undeniably delicious, with generous portions that offer great value, the overall experience leaves much to be desired. The cleanliness of the facility is concerning, which detracts from the enjoyment of the meal. Though not entirely within their control, the excessive foot traffic from homeless individuals and drug users disrupts the environment and creates an uncomfortable atmosphere.
Additionally, I noticed what appeared to be a child helping prepare food. While I understand this may be a family-run business, this comes across as unprofessional and raises questions about food safety.

Had the chicken strips today and they were excellent. Lots of home cut fries with gravy and the choice of dipping sauce. Can't wait to try some other specialties from the menu. Great job to the people who run this place.

Holy Shit !!!! I'm from Quebec and the fries are exactly as I used to remember them back home from the many lovely hotdogs shack we have. Also the haddock is cooked beautifully with a light and crispy batter !! Would 1000% recommend to anyone!
One of the best fish burgers I’ve had, crispy on the outside fresh and moist on the inside and the chips are fresh definitely recommend!

My friends pitched me so much about this place, and backed up by the disappointment of it being closed the last time I came, I had strong urge to try their food even more! Drive all the way from Langford (in Victoria) to Nanaimo to have Chick to Sea Express. I am not much of a sea food person (yet!) so I went with their Crispy Chicken Sandwich meal. The sandwich, essentially a burger was very filling, and taste wise it was 6/10. Fries were crispy and thick cut. The size of the burger was quite big! All the other customers ordered sea-food! I believe it’s 95% sea food place and 5% chicken. The seating arrangement is small, pretty decent for to accommodate 15 people at once. Also, there is ample of parking, which is nice and convenient. Overall, the experience was good. Will I be visiting again? Yes, only if I become a sea food person!
