COBS Bread is our go-to bakery! We’ve been buying from them for over 3 years now and honestly, everything is always super fresh and tasty. Their mini pizzas, tarts, buns, and croissants are all packed with flavor — perfect for a quick snack or lunch treat.
We’ve tried a bunch of their breads, and some of our top picks are the fibre loaf, sourdough, multigrain, and Turkish bread. The focaccia is also amazing — soft, herby, and great with soups or on its own.
The staff is always friendly and helpful, and it just feels like a place that really cares about quality. Definitely recommend checking them out if you haven’t already!

Fell behind making soup for a friend in need yesterday and needed a sourdough loaf for the finishing touch! Called the store to let them know I’d be there a minute before close. Not a worry in their voice and we’re really kind and didn’t seem annoyed when I got there. Great service and delicious bread. Thanks Cobs at terminal Nanaimo!

Everytime i go to this store, i encounter very nice and helpful employees. Customer service is so important and this store excels at that. The pastries are also fresh and delicious. One of the best places in town. Wish it was a coffee shop!
Was at this Cobs bread earlier today, and a young man was personalizing the package labels with cute little (simple and quick) drawings. Don't let anyone dull your sparkle, my dude, this kind of thing is what brings a smile to people's faces and makes you and your business memorable. Will definitely be back!
