My girlfriend and I loved the food here. The drinks were also amazing, she had stated that they were way better than anything she had at Starbucks. I loved my drink as well, a mocha coffee drink. She had the white chocolate one. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was very pleasant and comfortable. We will definitely return when we come to the Nanaimo area.
What a gem!
I pinned this place for my one day trip to Nanaimo and stopped by to have breakfast, I’ve ordered two Benedict eggs and asked for one half boiled and the other full. But both turned to be half and due to tight schedule didn’t bother to ask for change. Also the bread was soaked in sauce which should be prevented by placing other ingredients between. Stuff were friendly.
Great food. Loved our west coast eggs benny and farmer’s breakfast wrap - the house made maple sausage was fantastic. Great hash browns, and friendly, flawless service. Lots of sunny outdoor seating!

Stopped by here for a quick brunch to go, and it was a very pleasant experience. Service was great, they were friendly and quick with our food. They also had a wide range of options to choose from! I had a breakfast bagel and Caramel latte while my husband had a breakfast wrap. Both tasted great and were very filling.

The food was excellent and their mission and the way they operate is so cool. More businesses need to think this way. Well done ?

An absolute hidden gem in the heart of Cedar! Finally, a breakfast place that does hollandaise from scratch. The perfect eggs benny for carnivores and herbivores alike! Beware, they should be selling this stuff from a trench coat. You'll be hooked!

Classic Eggs Benedict is my "test" for food quality, and this was one of the best I have experienced! A proper hollandaise sauce and the back bacon had so much flavor.

My partner and I came here for the first time today and can honestly say that it's such a lovely little place to eat at. Everyone working today was friendly and welcoming (I believe Connor was at the counter) and when I asked to have an item taken out of the dish, it was agreed with no fuss. The food came out quickly and tasted delicious, we ordered the smoked salmon bagel and a coffee. Thank you to everyone at Coco Cafe, we will be back!
