Had cod fish & chips.....it was great!!! Fish was awesome..had just enough crispy batter...not greasy....fries were cooked to perfection! Thank you for a fantastic dinner.

Unfriendly service, food was greasy, drink glass was dirty. First and last time we will eat there. Grilled cheese sandwich was almost empty and a greasy mess. Hot chocolate was weak.

We just stopped in for a quick fish and chips at the Cod Squad in Nanaimo, BC and ate every single morsel.Good food nice people and the prices are pretty good.
Cod and chips was great! Enjoyed the coleslaw and tartar sauce as well. Very cold in there though even with my coat on Probably warmer later in the day…. I was there after 12 for lunch.

I love the Halibut and chips, we order halibut and 1/2 order of chips, they also give you coleslaw, and tartar sauce. We also love the halibut, it is always good and not greasy. We think it is the only place to buy Halibut..

I can honestly say that these were the best cod fish and chips I’ve ever had! Excellent quality and proportion of cod to batter. This will be my go to restaurant for fish and chips from now on!

i RARELY POST REVIEWS BUT THIS MORNING i WAS JUST angry enough to put in the effort. This restaurant is on the way home from my wife's work so perhaps once a week she stops for take-out . This morning I ask her to stop again .She told me she is uncomfortable when the Asian lady at the till asks her for a tip .I told her you tip for good service not because someone puts their hand out for money! I am not sure if this woman is an employee or owner but I told my wife to find another restaurant where the cashier is more polite. We will never go back!
