The best gelato I've had, compared to what I had in Europe too (although I haven't been to Italy yet). The original owner was trained in Italy and I believe the new owners have been too. They make authentic Gelato. The waffle cones which they make fresh are incredible too. They use natural flavours and as many local ingredients as they can. I miss the Honey Lavender flavour which I haven't seen in ages (please bring it back). I wish they were open more days and...
The ice cream was absolutely delicious, and the waffle cones are made fresh right there. The sweet aroma of the waffles makes the whole place even more magical. Definitely try this ice cream—it will make your Nanaimo experience even more memorable!😋
My second visit here and it will not be my last! Gelato is fabulous and all made on. Site with local ingredients. On a warm summer night the line up is bout the door but if you come during the day there is a steady trickle of delighted customers.
Staff are super friendly and samples are readily available. A few tables and chairs outside and a few inside. There seem to be about 20 or more flavours daily and they do apparently mix it up.
