We specifically ask and payed for Wild Salmon on all our food we ordered.Yet they still put it in our food when we ask 3 times NO FARM SALMON!! WHY? NEVER WILL I EAT AT THIS PLACE AGAIN!!
Any Sushi restaurant that serves Farmed salmon should be ashamed of themselves..
Toxic waste..it not Salmon ..anything to make a buck.

This was truly disgusting. I got the chicken Katsu and my girlfriend got the pork Katsu and they were inedible. Tough and dry, so dry you couldn't chew large parts of it. This is hands down the worst sushi place I have tried.

The food arrives fast but is totally underwhelming. One small tea upon arrival (no refills and no water) is all we got. Once the food arrived, we never saw a server again until the bill came.

We tried it for the first time, and the food was amazing. The service was fast and outstanding, and my daughter absolutely loved the Korean ramen.

They forgot to take our order, we sat menus down for 35 minutes until we grabbed a waitress and asked for the order to be taken.
We got our food and it was just ok, not the freshest tasting sushi.
Atmosphere is ok, but not great compared to other sushi offerings in town.

The atmosphere was very quaint and kitchy in a good way; nice and clean feel. One of the servers was very sweet and understanding, but the other was a little pushy and was fast to move/grab things. [It was quiet in there with maybe 4 tables of 2-3 max] The food itself was pretty alright; i had the Yakiudon and i wish i got something else 😓 i didn't know the chicken was going to be deep-fried and the sauce tasted like pork fat was a main ingredient! I could've asked, but still.
My wife's sushi was also pretty OK; the rolls were unevenly cut and looked like the nori got torn by a duller knife, and my grandma in-law's bento box was also OK. The fish tasted like it was on the lower end of sushi-grade to thrm.
It was a really cute place that served coke and pepsi products, but the food wasn't what we were looking for. It was a nice big menu with really nice japanese cuisine you dont usually see, but maybe we've been spoiled by a really lovely place down in langford.
Our grandma was curious about the place since you hear more about a place nearby, but i guess it's just not for us or them.
Really just needs a few tweaks on maybe the menu's descriptions and the preparation and i think it'll be a bangin' restaurant.

Very unimpressed with my food today. Ordered the crazy girl roll and they blow torched my roll and it was all burnt and tasted horrible. I asked for another without it being torched and they told me they would still charge me for the burnt one.

The California rolls were excellent, the rice outside was not too thick and the filling inside was very filling. My whole family loved it and we highly recommend this sushi restaurant.

Food was mediocre, service went between ignoring us and over compensating for ignoring us. Just not worth it to ever go back.

Got food poisoning from this place that lasted for almost 36 hours. Avoid!
I've been here a few times now. Each time I go I struggle with the food and the treatment of servers.
The last two visits, the food has been questionable. The first visit I bit into a piece of sushi that tasted rancid. I told the manager and he tried to brush it off that it must have been just the one piece. I stopped him and said no, it was bad. I told him that I wanted him to fix things.
Today, my second visit, I had a nice waitress help me. After she took my order, the manager started taking over my service. I stopped him and told him I just needed one server.
Eventually, half an hour before the restaurant was closing my server was gone. I asked him what happened to my server, he told me that she finished her shift. I told him that it was odd. I asked what happens if I want to give her the tip. He explained that I could have tipped her when she was there. I asked him how I would know if she was to finish her shift. He gave no answer.
Also, I complained that one of the sushi with fish was pasty in the texture of peanut butter. He asked me what texture I wanted but didn't provide an answer as to why the fish was like this.
Both visits, I left frustrated.
