Franchise quality. Bland food. Stingy portions of meat and cheese. Mexican is mostly carbs (tortillas, rice, beans) so there's no excuse for there being no flavour. The meat and cheese should be doing the heavy lifting. Not being confused as a garnish. For those who knew Gina's back in the day (under Don's ownership) or Topanga's in Van, you know what I'm talking about.

I’ve been coming to this place for over 10 years and usually enjoy the Thai or Southwest wraps. This time I tried the Californian, but it didn’t feel as special and the filling was lighter than I expected. Over time, I’ve noticed the wraps have gotten a bit smaller, but the flavors are still good. I’ll probably stick with Thai or Southwest next time, and it would be wonderful if the wraps could be just a little more generous

Ordered a veggie wrap for pick up today at Delicados North location. As always, my wrap was warm, bursting with wonderful veggies and massive hunks of avocado. Very fresh and delicious, and such a great healthy alternative to picking up fast food when you’re hungry and on a time crunch. It was just enough for my empty belly with the perfect amount of heat. Delicados is one of my all-time local Nanaimo favourites. Delicious!

Order the big buritto, and all I can say is: terrible!
Just filled with beans and corn with barely any chicken (see other people's photos). No rice, either. Lacked flavour. Won't be ordering from here again.

Good food but it takes a while to be served. I wish they would offer skip the dishes. I would order a lot more from them if I didn’t have to go and wait. I would much rather a delivery service on a busy work day. Their wraps are yummy though and they do fill you up!

Hi. I have been a customer of Delicados for 25 years. Always enjoyed the food until recently. I ordered a wrap that was not up to your standards.I ordered a shrimp California wrap the ingredients were minimal and adding spinach instead of sprouts was not to my liking. You are cutting back on ingredients and the price does not reflect what you’re charging. I thought it was a one off. As a long time customer for 25 years I thought you should know why I won’t be back. The prices don’t warrant the quality.

I do love they have healthy food choices, with less oil and non deep fried. Kudos 👏 to have healthy choices and different salad options to choose from. I like the burrito on a bowl and the Mexican lasagna.
Please, never change. My wife and I have been eating here since 2005, and even though we live in Victoria now, every time we go to Nanaimo, we never wonder where we are going to have lunch.
Amazingly fresh and quality in-house made meals will keep us coming back forever. Don't forget to buy some of their signature sauce to go. It's unbeatable.

Microwave is the only way any and all hot food is heated here. Portion sizes have become super tiny, with cheese burnt onto the plate from the microwave. Extremely poor quality. RIP Delicado’s, you will be missed.

The food was really good, the service was amazing and the staff was really nice. I would definitely recommend this place; it was $25 for 3 salads and a large plate of cheese filled tortillas. This place is a complete 11/10.
