I ordered a large lasagna and a Greek salad. It came to $31.40 and there is easily enough for 2 people so good value, the Greek salad was fresh and delicious š. My reason why only 3 stars, that lasagna was the saddest lasagna I ever had. Just don't order the pasta here

Does the pizza rival that of one that comes from a wood fired oven in Italy? Noā¦ Is it a very legitimate ābar pieā at a very fair price? YES! The pickup special (19.95 for Xlarge) is a deal you just dont see these days. Feeding my family of 3 for $20 sounds like a fairy taleā¦ well worth a tip each visit. Thank you Departure Bay Pizza for serving a reasonable product at a reasonable price.

We came to Nanaimo from Vancouver for two days and ended up visiting this pizza place twiceāitās that good! We tried the Deluxe, Hawaiian and the Tandoori Chicken pizzas, and all were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend it if you're in town!

Parking: Nice size parking lot clean and safe
Kid-friendliness: They do by the slice so kids who are on lunch break at the highschool can get quality pizza at affordable rates
Phoned to order a pizza and the lady on the line first hung up and when I called back she said Hello so I asked if they were open? She said yes and I ordered a pizza she was very blunt and the order was done very quick without being told the price or asked about pickup or delivery. I was concerned that she didnāt ask about delivery and told her that I realized they were probably extremely busy but she then āscoldedā me that I didnāt tell her it was for delivery and it was all up to me the customer. She was extremely rude on the phone and had no customer service so I told her to forget it and cancelled the order. Hopefully she will not be there much longer as she didnāt seem to enjoy her job but we really enjoy the pizza there itās so good.

I used to think this was "okay" pizza, but today we ordered a large peperoni with mushroom. It looked like something you would get at a 7-11 (yuk). The peperoni was scarce and so thin it curled up and broke up like rice wafers. Cheese was very hard to find or taste. Mushrooms were fresh, which is great, but I counted about 6 or 7. Granted you don't pay $30 for a pizza, but I would be happy to pay more than to be given something so thin and tasteless. Very disappointing.

Pizza and wings were quite good. However I had ordered online and strangely it said if the site takes too long to confirm you wouldnāt be able order that way. It took too long with no confirmation either way so assumed it didnāt happen. Then tried phoning 4 times with no result. So then drove to the location to order takeout. It was Monday so ordered the Monday special but wanted to add pasta. No pasta available. While I waited for the pizza/wings they called me to say no pasta availableā¦.obviously they just got the online order. Said not to worry about that. Finally got the order but when I got home realized I didnāt get the included 2 litre pop. I couldnāt be bothered to go back and likely never will. Could be staffing issues like everywhere but extremely frustrating and a waste of my time.
