I love the location and the vibe, both inside and outside the café 🤩 It’s a small space, but just perfect for a catch-up

Very busy with limited seating and parking. It’s close to the ferry terminal. The avocado toast was delicious.

Nice place, nice folks. But: too busy, too slow, too expensive. Only one bean for Americano: sour.

Great coffee and nice baked goods. They also have gelato, although I didn't try it. Nice location right on the ocean in Departure Bay.

What a gem - stopped for a coffee before catching a ferry to mainland and so glad we did! Great coffee, avocado toast is amazing and the view adds to the experience 👍

This place is located near the Nanaimo ferry. Lots of visitors and it is located right infront of the seawalk. Atmosphere is great. There are comfy seats inside the cafe as well as patios outside.
My only negative take on it is that perhaps it was too busy and the Baristas were trying their best to keep up with the orders, they might have rushed through the coffee process. My iced latte tasted like cold milk with a hint of caffeine. I had to throw it away. It looked like it was a temperature thing or what not. Mind you I'm not a coffee snob but my friend also said their americano and latte tasted sour.
Might be worth a try to check on temp and grind.

Nice coffee shop! They even have beer 👍🏻 ordered an ice matcha latte and it was a little too milky for my liking but otherwise it was really good 👌🏻
Coffee place is very beautiful a lot of options to eat and drink.
Nanaimo bar was good but the chocolate part was very strong, matcha needs a little be less milk and will be perfect
Stopped by this establishment when we had an hour to kill before getting on the ferry. My partner and I were blown away by how wonderful of an experience it was. We both ordered sandwiches, both of which were 11/10 - so different and yet both SO good, definitely a step up from regular cafe food. We started with coffees which were divine and then had to order another round of drinks on our way out because they were just that good. We got two matchas, they gave plenty of exciting customizable options, and were just as good as the rest of our orders. On top of all that the service matched the excellency of their products. The staff were friendly and our food was prepared quickly without sacrificing any of the quality. I can’t recommend enough!
Amazing little gem of a place! Be prepared to wait on a busy weekend to get a seat as it’s very popular.
Used to be our favorite place to visit for blended coffee. Last time we have found the drinks very inconsistent.
