had the worst experience. waited almost an hour to get our food and when it finally came, the fries were so undercooked. The staff was friendly but they were so unorganized and while we were waiting for our dish to come out (which took almost an hour), our water wasn’t filled and no one checked on us, so we had to ask for it. If we were informed that it was going to take that long to get our food, would’ve ordered in or gone somewhere else. Never going back and not recommending this place.

What a surprise, just cruisin' the main drag at lunch and noticed this little restaurant. First time on the island and they did not disappoint! Even had the hot crab dip n potato slices and we tried/loved the scallops. Instead of goin to the regular chains I say give these folks your dime & time. Friendly and fast service. If we ever come visit from Wpg again this will be the first stop.

Went with a few friends and we all really enjoyed the experience on a Friday night. The building has a cool historic vibe and the atmosphere was warm and lively.
We ordered a mix of dishes like some sushi rolls, a couple of mains from the grill, and a dessert to share. Everything was well-presented and tasty, and the sushi especially stood out.
Service was friendly and helpful without being overbearing, and we never felt rushed. My friends and I agreed we’d definitely come back. Great spot for a relaxed night out with friends. 👍<3 !!

My husband and I dropped in for lunch this afternoon and had the most friendly , down to earth waitress serving up some delicious eats. Hubs ordered the badass burger and was super stoked with his meal! Can’t beat the made in house burgers with all the fixings! I ordered the geyser sushi roll and was filled up without feeling grossly full. Worth the stop when in Nanaimo!
