We were there for our anniversary tonight. Drinks were great, seafood dip was greatand the jambalya was also great. Our server was friendly. However, unfortunately my fish was greasy and they only have chipoltle tarter sauce.

I was excited when the dish was served, but they plated three different dishes all on one plate. The assorted sashimi had a poor texture and there weren’t many types either.

I visited twice, a month apart. The first time was ok, the second time was not good. I had Miyagi's Magic Prawns and one piece of sushi on my first visit for lunch. It was fine but not something I would order again or recommend. On my second visit, I had the seafood jambalaya and that was quite bad. It was rice and seafood in a marinara-style sauce- there wasn't anything creole about it. I picked the seafood out and left the rest. The server did not inquire about my barely eaten dish. This isn't a place I would recommend for their food.

Discovered this on election night, there were very few places open and we landed here by default because they were open Monday night. What a great find! The food here is amazing. We had the fish and chips and a burger. And I have a hard time saying this without feeling foolish, but this was one of the best burgers I've ever tasted, it is the closest thing that I have encountered in a restaurant to homemade. The fish was delicious, not greasy and a lovely portion. Service was excellent and there was parking just up the street, $4 an hour. Highly recommend

The food was amazing, the place was clean, and food came out quickly. The waitress was nice, but she gave off major vibes of how she didn't want to be there. The waitress is normally a big part of the experience, and she just seems very unhappy to be there.

Stopped in her on our way to the airport for dinner. The wife and I were very pleased with the food. She said gumbo was the best she's ever had and the sushi was very fresh and flavourful.

We are really pleased we chose this restaurant. The food was super yummy. We both had the New York Striploin which had the best mushroom sauce I have ever had. It was delicious. We had fabulous service and the friendly and personable young man who looked after us recommended the 3rd Degree Ice-cream Pie for dessert. The peanut butter flavor is not one I'd had before, but it was really good and worth staying for. I recommend this restaurant - friendly lovely service with delicious food.
Parking: There was a public parking area within easy walking which is free after 5pm.
Best sushi in town by far. This establishment is very well managed, great coordination between waiters and cooks.

The food is with wide range of choices from western food to steaks and sushi. This us my 3rd tome to this restaurant when I am visiting Nanaimo. Always have the sushi but the other dishes look good as well. The old location was much nicer. The new one is way too dark.

This restaurant was OK. The service was quite slow - the first time since we've been in Canada that the service wasn't fantastic. The main reason for the review is the steak was quite disappointing, it was overcooked and the 'French loaf' it was served on was just a piece of bread. The sushi was decent. Overall it was fine but I wouldn't recommend to friends.
