Absolutely amazing food and even better staff! Everything was so delicious, we barely had time to breathe between bites. Huge shout-out to Val for holding our little one so we could actually devour our food hands-free. Above and beyond service. We’ll definitely be back!

Came on a Monday for lunch right after they opened. The rice and beans looked and tasted like they were left over from the night before and just reheated, unsure if they were fresh but they were chunky and dry. The enchilada sauce is one of the worst I've ever had, tasted like cinnamon and was chunky. My spouse ate 2 bites of his tacos, ended up taking them to go and we chucked them in the garbage. Margarita was decent. Won't be back.

We got a gift certificate for Gina's in our Welcome to the Neighbourhood package. We never would have had this place on our radar, if it hadn't been for this.
Great food, great service, we'll be back again!

Recommended to come here, was not disappointed.
Straight away we were seated and given complimentary corn chips and salsa, and table water.
Ordered two mains and a drink. Came piping hot and plenty of sides. We thought one of our dishes wasn’t right, but only found this 1/2 way eating it. We didn’t care because it was very good. Waitress made up for it by giving us churros to go, and gave me beef burrito. However I was already full. Very attentive service, lovely mexican aesthetics. Meals are very filling! We hope to return one day.

Recently moving from Southern California to Nanaimo I’ve been dying to find a Mexican restaurant that had good food. This place is really cool. I love the look at the place inside and out. It’s got brilliant colours and looks fun. reminds me of Southern California and Mexico and the food was very good. Our waitress Brooke was very nice and was always asking us if we needed anything. We will come back again.

Honestly one of the worst Mexican meals of my life. Food is bland, even when you ask for it to be spicy. Beans are dry and crispy as if they were made last week and microwaved. The steak fajitas are a joke... a strip of meat pre-placed inside a tortilla. The chilli relleno are beyond an insult to Mexico... an Anaheim chilli with cream cheese inside when everyone knows a proper chilli relleno is stuffed with Oxaca or Monterey Jack. The cream cheese is so totally wrong.
Overly priced for what it is.
Service is disinterested. Staff hygiene leaves a lot to be desired.
Thanks Sharon, we'll never be back.

The food was fresh and tastes good. But the staff behaviour was not customer - friendly at all. Rude and unprofessional.

Went for a early dinner the other afternoon before driving back down to victoria. The mains were perfect. Zero complaints there. Was disappointed in the rice and the corn though. Rice had no flavor and the corn tasted like the pre mixed fiesta blend from sysco that had been microwaved on the same plate with the rice. Chips weren't home made but there salsa was delicious. Over all will be back as the mains were great and the price was reasonable.
