This is a great little gem of a restaurant with great views. Decor is so quaint and the food is excellent. Make their own salsa. Huge portions. Friendly staff. Parking. We don't go anywhere else for Mexican.

The food is good to great. The margaritas are fabulous. They don't skimp on the cheese and have a good selection of hot sauce.
However, it's noisy as heck. Go during a slow day.

I just had a fantastic meal! Prawns on rice with a very tasty.sauce. Delish!! Cute, cosy an friendly.
Got a snarky response when I asked a question about a menu item (ingredients not listed on the menu) I would have honestly left then but I was with someone else. After $3 charge for dairy free cheese it was $24 dollars before tax/tip for a bland burrito and a negative/awkward experience before the food even arrived. Won't be back
Since I love Good Mexican, I tried this out. Got my food within 15 minutes, very quick. Ordered one of their most popular dishes. The free nachos and salsa was a bonus. Unfortunately, I was somewhat disappointed at the quality of the dish. It tasted like it was pre-made and heated up. Lacked the flavours and taste I was hoping for.

They were kind enough to make us a to go order as we go there close to closing. We were grateful. Yet I have to say the food was much less then ok. Not a Mexican flavour to it, bland, no guacamole or salsa, cheese for sure. But not worth almost $16.00/per plate plus a generous tip. I hope the eat in flavours are better then the take out flavours. We will for sure try to eat in one day as I believe take out can often be challenging to make yummy.
We ordered takeout and picked it up. Served on two paper plates. Meager portions and tasted like two day old leftovers. We were disappointed.

So, a white Canadian, who has never tasted authentic Mexican food, opens a Mexican restaurant. Not even close! 😕

Ordered a burrito for delivery and cutlery was not included. Given that there are other aspects of this dish (rice, beans, corn) that are not exactly handheld items, I'm not sure how I am expected to eat this. Additionally, it would be nice to have a better takeaway container, rather than a paper plate with tinfoil over it. Tinfoil doesn't breath very easily and most of my burrito's vital toppings (cheese) were stuck to it. I'm hoping that by providing this feedback, future patrons of the restaurant can benefit from eating with utensils. Regardless of whether or not the end consumer has cutlery at home with them, it is a nice touch to include this (I am at a hotel).
