I ordered a goat biryani and ended up getting goat curry. Horrible service by the girl in the front desk

I had Chicken Tikka. It was delicious, but so dry, and the rice seemed like it was a day old.

Food tasted like soap. Had upset stomach all night. Found hard peice of charcoal looking thing in our food ..when brought it to server attention she never came back to tell us what it was I almost broke my tooth. We asked again and was told of it's just burnt cinnamon stick...sorry no and why would a burnt hard as rock anything be in our food. Was never even offered an apology . So guess it's normal ..we won't be back!!

The food didn't meet our expectations. Ordered more than 4 5 items and was disappointed with the quality and taste. The dosa and sambar lacked it's own taste and was very differently flavored. Other foods were either soggy or oily. This experience was far different than we usually had from there. I hope they can rectify this issue and bring the quality and taste back.

I ordered fish platter with a mango lassi. I thought they gonna charge lassi separately but they added it to the platter with only 2$ additional charge which was great. This is the best indian dining experience for a 1st time. Thanks both FOH & BOH. KEEP IT UP 💯 👌...

Food was excellent , I ordered lamb biryani and was amazed they put it in this beautiful clay pot with flowers design around it. I asked the waitress if I could buy it , she said I will let the owner know. So I took a pic of my food instead.

Unfortunately can't leave 0 stars!
I called and made a reservation the night before. When we got there, 1 of our party had already been seated though there was confusion as the staff thought we would be 6 people while I had said clearly that I was making a reservation for 3. Anyway, we joined up and sat patiently waiting while nothing happened other than waitresses walking by, staring at us and then going back to ignoring us. I should add that there were 3 waitresses walking around with maybe a half dozen tables occupied.
After over 30 minutes, a waitress brought us water, again asking if there were going to be 6 of us, which we said no to and that we were all there. She left with no further comment.
After a total of 45 minutes of waiting with nobody even bothering to take our order, we got up and left and went to a nearby Indian restaurant that had outstanding service, which left us receiving our food within 25 minutes of walking through the door though they were busy.

We went out for dinner at Heritage last night, a Wednesday night. We arrived around 6:00; the place was empty, only one other table. Yet, once seated with menus, we waited over 10 minutes for someone to come take our order. I finally had to get up and approach the hostess who had seated us to ask if we were going to get any service. No apology, just a terse "someone will be with you shortly." The waitress who did materialize a few minutes later was not particularly friendly and had no personality (you got the impression she disliked her job), but at least she offered a mumbled apology for the "inconvenience." We ordered the beef masala and the chicken jalfrezi, both with rice, and a side of naan. The beef dish was good: very flavourful and the meat was tender. But the chicken was at best mediocre: the sauce was bland, tasting like it could have come out of a jar, and the chicken was dry and stringy. We couldn't even finish it. The rice served with the dishes was just lukewarm. One piece of the naan was burnt black. Thankfully, Nanaimo has other options next time we're craving Indian cuisine!

Kid-friendliness: Service was non existent. Waited 40 + minutes for our food
Had 2 toddlers and they were going squirrels. Food tasted very good but terrible service. Appeared everything was focused on take out and the inside customers waited.

Well over an hour wait without any service. We didn't even get our drinks or water refilled the whole time. As consolation they gave us some crunchy bread which was nice, but the container it was in wasn't lined and was moldy

The best Indian food on Vancouver Island. Authentic Indian food, looked for good indian food so much and found it here. It is evident that the owners and chefs know what they’re doing!!
