My favorite buffet in Nanaimo! I live closer to a different one, but I take the bus across town just to go to Hong Kong House's buffet.
Tons of options! Mostly Chinese offerings, but also some salad, pasta salad, desserts including ice cream and Nanaimo bars. Don't miss out on the Thai curries they add to the buffet sometimes, some of the best food I've ever had!
Staff are very attentive, food is fresh and the buffet is frequently restocked.
Ordered delivery and the website said 25mins. I called just over an hour after ordering and was told it was out for delivery. 20 minutes later the driver arrived in a torn up t shirt with holes all over. $60 for food for two. So over priced and way too long to get delivered considering we live less than 5 mins from the restaurant. Food was warm not hot and meh. Won’t be ordering there again.
Yummmmm we ordered the Tofu Chop Suey and it was delightful! I’ve never tasted Tofu that delicious ❤️ even my 5 year old was fighting with me over the last few bites!
