Really disappointed with my order. Will not order again. Not worth the price, protein selections extremely disappointing and not worth value. Don’t order from here

$73 for two buffet plates and two Pepsi's in a restaurant that boasts great food and service when what I recieved was anything but.

The food was near empty in every tray, and I appreciate it was an hour and half before close, but still, the choices were bare and old looking. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the food that I did manage to scavenge from the buffet. However, it's quality was less then worth the massive $73 charge on a greasy, underwhelming McDonald's of Chinese buffets.

And as for the service, well, next time I'll just walk into a door a dozen times and tip myself for the displeasure. Needless to say I did not tip. The gouge in my wallet made me think twice about that.

I only gave 1 star ⭐ simply because I am no longer hungry.

Absolutely nothing to rave about, greasy over cooked over priced crap. We went to the buffet half of it was empty with crumbs, got what little there was and was charged for the buffet and 2 pops no refills 74$ for 2 people before tip which we didn't give! Absolutely pissed off at the joke of this place.

Probably the best Chinese smorgasbord in Nanaimo. Very big, fresh food coming all the time. Not to be missed if you enjoy Chinese food. (Also off the menu.)0

Went for the lunch buffet it has a large selection of hot and cold items , myself I’d rather Quality over Quantity . Updated : Horrible never again !

I was here 20 years ago the food was better than compared to now. Taking the old bin sitting out heated food reheating and adding this is not good food practices for restaurant, specially, under a buffet style chow main was dry and reheated to meany time’s shrimp cooked and reheated you can tell from the burnt tail end’s and leggings have burnt heavy Garlic burnt onto the shrimp that is not appetizing to me and I wouldn’t find that appetizing to anybody else My suggestion stay away Hong Kong house not worth your time and or money Or your toilet constantly reheated food makes a person feel sick. Honestly, my opinion I think somebody from health and food safety should walk in there. Just looking at these 2 plates you can tell it bin reheated and put back on the buffet table!

This was the first time experience at this restaurant and the food was ordered via Uber eats. Service was quick and delivery was good. I ordered an eggroll and special number three, which was a chicken Chow mein, Sweet-and-sour ribs, and breaded prawns. The egg roll was cold and exceptionally greasy. I’ve never seen an eggroll “lump” formed in quite the same way. The sweet-and-sour ribs were tiny and cold. The chow mein noodles were dry, and there were a few slices of chicken breast on top of the noodles. There was no flavour. That dish was also cold. There were four very small prawns covered in a very tasteless and greasy breading. Portions were exceptionally small. Food was cold and greasy. Sorry, I can’t recommend this restaurant and won’t return.

One star because they show the price as $20.95 but it's really $29.95. The food was so so. Not really any meat in anything and the Wonton taste like some kind of chemical in it. The bill total at the end for two people was over $70.00! Sorry wont go back.

I'm so done with this place. Months ago they took over two hours to deliver and we finally cancelled our order. .. Tonight my husband picked up Shanghai noodles and honey garlic pork.
Noodles were greasy and tasteless with no vegetables. Pork was also tasteless and so overcooked I almost bent my fork trying to pick up the insipid beige chunk of uninspired low quality meat.
We threw it out. $40 wasted.
Shame on the lack of standards your establishment has devolved to.
