My husband and I decided to go here for dinner after not having been in over a decade. They have definitely updated the place. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We didn't have room for dessert but will be back for the deep-fried cheesecake!

This is a quaint pub on the outskirts of South Nanaimo. There is plenty of parking and the pub lives up to a pub's reputation of being dark and the meeting place.
The service was great and I can't say enough about how hard our waitress worked to get us our food and drinks. I think they were short staffed but she carried on!
The atmosphere was good and it was a bit loud in our section. Nothing that we couldn't overcome with talking a bit louder.
The food was okay....I can get a burger anywhere...their menu wasn't anything to write home about. It would have been nice to see a few stick to your ribs stews, Lamb shank or Shepard's pie kind of meals. I do understand kitchens and how places need to survive by offering limited items.

Had their chicken wings tonight and it wasn’t my first time. However I’ve never ever had wings that are undercooked. Both my boyfriend and I did not realized as these were the close to the last one. The waitress said it was due to them being “young chicken” not being undercooked. I strongly disagree as I feel so sick after eating this meal. Will not be back, I’m extremely disappointed.

This has to be the best pub experience Nanaimo has to offer. The service was phenomenal, very courteous, polite with a smile. And the food was beyond my expectations. Best pub burger I've had in a while. The menu is full of scrumptious choices at very reasonable pricing with daily specials. Highly recommend Jinglepot Pot to everyone.
