went for dinner and ordered squid stir-fry, pork cutlet, and a pancake. Overall, the food was good. The pork cutlet was thinner than I expected, but it was crispy and tasty.
It was nice that there was no line on a weekday evening, and what stood out most was how friendly the staff were.

One of my favourite dining experiences in Nanaimo. My family and my gf both love it here. The service is always amazing and we never have to wait long. The infinite sides are very refreshing.

Store is not busy and wait for an hour no food. They forgot the food. I wish there is a way I could tell their manager how bad they are. The experience is really bad. The girl has no idea for service and has no service at all. Wait for food forever and they forget my food even. The taste is so bad and strongly no recommendation at all We came for fun on the island and please do not come this restaurant ever.

Went for dinner tonight with some family. We didn't have a reservation, but they fit us in. Being a Friday night it was busy and with the small space it was not overly loud but a good buzz of customers enjoying themselves. The service is excellent and the food was fantastic. The prices are really reasonable and good value for the money. We were $17 per person for dinner.... really can't beat that value!

I LOVE their chicken bulgogi. I'm not claiming to know anything about authentic Korean food, but I can say that my personal preference for this particular dish, is definitely Kim's. I've been to many Korean restaurants, and they either dont have it, or it's not anywhere as good as Kims does it. I try and come here every time I'm in Nanaimo. If you're looking for something with less 🌶 heat, then I highly recommend their short ribs. Super tender and absolutely delicious. Also, their prices are fantastic compared to some others.
