1st time visit. Coffee drinks and baked goods were tasty. Chairs def need cushions. Or at least make them available. The bathroom was absolutely freezing, I don't like using facilities when I'm out but this was cold and unpleasant. Service was standard. Will go again!

Lovey environment, very relaxing, and positive staff. There are always a few kind ladies when I've stopped by. I'm a sucker for the Avocado toast here.
La Isla is a good neighborhood Cafe I recommend to check out.

I always try to support local but this business didn't wow me. Had Avocado toast and it wasn't made with real Avocado. Love that the first responder have a spot nearby. Service was slow but friendly. Overall experience so so

Amazing find!!! This little cafe is beautiful inside! The food is creative and delicious. We had the omelette and it was one of the best I have ever had! (Maybe skip the carrots in your omelette, but do ask for tomatoes, they were very fresh and tasty!) Breakfast sandwich was fantastic! Pastries are also nice!
Amazing and friendly service! We look forward to coming back!
* My husband says they deserve "browny points*!

I come here often for their veggie breakfast sandwich. It is so good! I enjoy the ambience and the decorations. Definitely recommend :)

Wonderful neighbourhood cafe, friendly staff, great home-baked goods. I really hope they return to be opening earlier for breakfasts. Also they have a few gluten free options too. Some interesting latte art if you ask. Love the herbal tea selection too. Thank you!

Had a craving for something sweet, decided to support a local cafe. Paid almost $7 for a Nanaimo bar, which would have been okay if it was good, but sadly it was not. The custard layer was pure coconut and the other layers very bland. I think it was vegan, but I've had delicious vegan Nanaimo bars in the past with a vegan version of custard. Couldn't eat more than a few bites :(

Was super excited to try this coffee shop! But, first, I had to wait so long just to get a drip coffee. There were a group of 4 women who ordered a fancy coffee, I expected to get my drip coffee first because it's already made and all she had to do was pour it into a cup. However, she served the 4 ladies, then took 2 other customer orders, and then served the man AFTER me a drip coffee. And then she went to me and said she needed to brew a new pot. So, I go to sit down and I get my sandwich. It was the ham and cheese and I added an egg to it. It was absolutely garbage. It tasted like fish. At this point I was so hungry and upset and I was on a lunch break for work so I didn't have anytime left to even bother arguing the sandwich. I took out the spinach to see if it tasted less like fish...then the eggs, then at that point I gave up because my stoamch was turning. So, I decided to eat the raspberry cheese cake which looked amazing. It had zero flavor to it. After spending about $25 on this entire meal, I'm so disappointed and will never come back.
Love the atmosphere ?

Food was really bad. Breakfast sandwiches and omelette were gross. Omelette was cold with uncooked cold carrots and cucumber in it? No gluten free bread or vegan options for baked goods. Coffee was good but we won’t go back as the food was so bad.

I love the feel and atmosphere of this cafe and that it's open consistently throughout the week. Service and setting is great. The menu and display options cover a good selection but quality of ingredients is not consistent which was disappointing (quesadilla with high processed cheese). When speaking to the server it sounds like they don't currently have a manager so orders are not consistent and this is not always the case, but it's suggest asking for specifics before ordering to ensure they are preparing a quality version of their menu. The soup, samosas, greens and dressing were fabulous.
Wheelchair accessibility: Level and no curb entrance. Large accessible and beautifully decorated washrooms

Really nice inside. Excellent pastries and very good quality teas. I'll definitely be back to try some more off the menu. Everything looks amazing! Plenty of street parking nearby.
