I love the wings you cannot go wrong. I always get the electric honey and I am never let down. The Ceasars are perfect also.

My friend and I ordered appies and beers and then ordered French onion soup which I couldn’t finish because the cheese in it was like chewing on gum. We spent about 2 hours and a bit in the pub area on Friday evening ending at 6pm. We were drinking our water which I had to ask for twice and had paid our bill when the blonde waitress who took over the original waitress’s shift came up and asked us to leave because it was getting busy. So we thought well that’s rude after we’d spent close to $80 between us. We stayed for the same amount of time that we do in any other place in Nanaimo. Obviously our bill was paid and we would be leaving. We won’t be back for anymore overcooked food in an overly noisy place and be made to feel uncomfortable.

The Landlubber has some of the best pub food I have ever had. Almost everything is made from scratch including their pickles! Yum! They also use real butter, fresh herbs, as well as interesting ingredients that you don't see anywhere else. Highly recommend! The staff there are so friendly and welcoming too. Over-all an awesome place to go with friends for great food and service!

It's a bit unassuming from the outside but when we went in to watch the Premier League match the owner and staff (Kerri) went above and beyond to make it happen. Great service, clean and well-tended spot, and great chicken wings!
