A bit pricy but understandable for island vs mainland. And the food quality could have been better for the price. The views is amazing and staff are nice. Overall food and drink is good. Lots of varieties.

Service was horrible. Understaffed and the manager stood there not helping. Took us 40min to get water(after asking). Ordered our drinks and meal so we would need to wait and took another 20min to get a beer and sangria. Ordered the shrimp as a starter, 10oz ribeye and baked Halibut. The meal was cold, steak was ordered medium rare and was cooked medium almost like it was reheated.
I normally would not write a review but there were other patrons experiencing the same service.

The service was excellent, and the outdoor seating was really nice. However, the food was a bit disappointing compared to the service and atmosphere. The sangria and limoncello were just mediocre. While the halibut with fruit salsa exceeded my expectations, the salmon was underwhelming—it didn’t taste fresh and lacked flavor. The turmeric-infused rice also felt a bit dry. Looking around at other tables, the Cobb salad or fish and chips might have been a better choice.

Absolutely delightful place for a late lunch! Kyla our server was both attentive and an absolute riot - a perfect combination! We chose seafood which was all very fresh, from the oysters and the halibut to the tempura shrimp. We shared a Nanaimo bar for dessert to try out the local delicacy. Surprisingly tasty. The upper patio has amazing view of the harbor and the landing seaplanes.

Had lunch there wanting to see the snowbirds on Sunday aug 2025. Ordered the asparagus salad. Basically was romaine lettuce with a few walnuts and strawberries. Very disappointing. Service was awful as there were only 2 servers ( not their fault) who apparently serve the food, the beverages and clear tables...really, for an establisment on the water, and the price, I would not recommend this place. I was hungry by the time i got back to Victoria. The Uptown bistro by my house, is so much better and this place needs help . It has all the ambience we need but the food sucks.

The muscles and claws and seafood chowder soooo good! The atmosphere is awsome! Sitting on the upper deck eating good food, with good drinks watching the sun go down can't be beat!! Being from Alberta...this is a great find!

Wow what great restaurant amazing view and Service Food was so yummy 😋 100% Server was Amazing very personal and genuine even well treating others. Looking forward to our next visit to Nanaimo. Was trying to add photos of the food the pasta was incredible and the Muscles to die for the best ever! And believe me I'm a seafood lover!

They were very busy but was able to fit a party of 10 rite away. Unfortunately they seemed to be under staffed but the waitresses were doing the best they could.the food came about an hr and a bit later.
Stopped in for dinner this evening to enjoy the air show, and we were lucky enough to have Teagan as our server. She was absolutely incredible. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. Her warm personality brightened our night. Our drinks were spot on, and her food recommendations were fantastic. It’s rare to come across service that makes you feel genuinely cared for but Teagan delivered exactly that. Because of her, our evening was unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Location on the water is so relaxing. Great pub vibe…. Great food. Fish and chips!! Our server Ashleigh was amazing!!!! We are going back and hope to get her service! Shes prompt helpful and great suggestions for us. She’s a credit to your establishment!! Also Sarah the hostess was perfect…. We are from Vancouver and this will be a GP to spot when we visit again anf will recommend to others!!

Ashley our Server was amazing! She was very friendly, personable, and attentive. The fish & chips were excellent, the views were amazing, and the atmosphere was perfect! I would recommend the Lighthouse if you are in Nanaimo looking for a port-side spot for dining and drinks!!
