Location is the highlight, on the waterfront with a view of the Seaplane base. The Seafood Cakes were very good, the Steak not good at all, might have been microwaved and came sliced. Might eat there again but will keep expectations in check.
I had a pretty good time here. The views were the best part of this dining experience. As for the food, it was average and a bit overpriced. I suppose a lot of tourists wouldn't mind it. Overall, one thumb up.
What a great little spot right on the waterfront! We dined on the patio/gazebo which was well sheltered from the wind and heated too. Service was excellent, very attentive throughout our meal and patient while we perused the menu options. I had the maple roasted garlic wings and a side of fries. The wings were sauced well, tender and crispy, and the fries were extra crispy! We ended the meal with a shared Nanaimo Bar, as you do when in Nanaimo. It was a great way to cap off the...
