I can’t really have a good opinion considering I was there when it was about to close. But I was there in the Woodgrove mall and the food was semi dry. The chowmein was still dry and crusty, the rice wasn’t that warm and a little bit stale. Although the best part about the meal was the honey garlic chicken it was a delicious combination of savoury and sweet a once in a lifetime event it will forever remain on my mind it was absolutely delectable. For the service I understand it was closing soon but I got rice and chowmein when I asked for just chowmein I do appreciate it although it was still somewhat dry and yet crusty. My father had to garb over the counter after paying because the cashier didn’t give us utensils nor were we offered them. I did enjoy the shade of green that put the atmosphere ahead of the competitors. It really gave it an aesthetic and natural look. I feel 1 star is a fair opinion considering what I experienced when eating there.

No value to come close to the amount they charge. Employees need to work on their house keeping skills, as well as washing their hands before handling customers food.

Horrible food , not fresh , chicken was harder than wood chips , flavourless noodles , soggy beef and soggy sweet and sour pork . Young gentleman serving was very polite and respectful but I feel bad for the staff serving this type of food to people. Never again

food was ok, there are definitely better chinese food places in Nanaimo. But i guess it was what I would expect for the price. (mind you, it wasnt very cheap but the food isnt great) Anyways, I have ordered the 3 item combo. The worker loaded the plate with lo mein and left very little room for the rest of the side dishes. It was also very unpleasant to see that the staff tried to cover the left over space and tried to make the illusion that they were giving me an appropriate amount of food. Especially the sweet and sour pork and the fried fish, it almost looked like she was too scared to offer some more. When i asked, she gave me a teenie little piece so i wasnt going to argue with her. Overall, the experience was okay, food was displayed very clearly and the workers were also quite emotionless but not rude. It was ok, i wish it could be better though compared to other chinese restaurants that offered a more authentic taste.

Went at lunch time, few few items actually prepared. Staff overloaded plate with starch items and then very cheap with the meat items. One tiny scoop and that was it. Had to ask for more meat and she added one tiny piece. This place has gone downhill and cheap now. Not worth the price anymore

I would rate this place a 0 star if I could. The food was cold and greasy, I FOUND A HAIR IN MY FOOD!!! Can you imagine how gross it was?!?! I saw the worker (a short middle aged woman) there wiping the counter with a dirty cloth! How disgusting!! NEVER EAT HERE!!! Literally grossed me out so much. Everywhere else in the food court is better than this place. Not mentioning how ridiculous the portion and price was. $20 for 5 PIECES OF CHICKEN AND 3 PIECES OF FISH??? DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND ACTUALLY EAT AT AN AUTHENTIC CHINESE RESTAURANT!!!
