We ordered off skip for a family meal. Got some rice, beef, and chicken. As we dug in we noticed pieces of metal not only in our rice but the other dishes too. Lost all our appetite there. Terrible

The food at Mandarin House is delicious. Its a hidden gem. The owners and the cook is very welcoming and makes authentic Chinese food, with lots of flavour. I suggest the ginger beef, the shanghai noodles, Kung Pao chicken. I eat here at least once a month. The prices are very good and the quantity of food serves two people easy. Give them a try.

The sweet and sour sauce is so gross and sour; it also smells like ketchup. The beef and rice noodles was covered in oily sauce that somehow had no flavour. The beef was like jelly, not sure how to really describe the bizarre texture it had. Do not waste your money here.

Disappointed in the chow mein. It was a brick of dough. The sweet and sour pork was okay, but tasted more starch than sweet. Deep fried prawns, the batter was uncooked inside on at least half of them. Almond chicken was perfect! The beef chop suey tasted good, but the beef was velveted so long it was like a jelly.

It's probably the worst Chinese food I've ever had in my life. I ordered via Uber eats, and I can honestly say that I'll never EVER order again from this place. The food was HORRIBLE, IVE NEVER EATEN SOMETHING SO BAD! They took about an hour to get my food ready and then proceeded to give me 4 small containers with food. The sweet and sour pork tasted like chicken that was overcooked and just tasteless. The chow main was even worse! No sauce, no meat, dry as a bone, and the noodles were overcooked. I have no clue how you even make fried rice worse 😕 the fried rice had no meat, and I mean it in a literal sense. It was a BBQ pork, and there were only 3 small slices of pork that tasted old and stale. For the time they took to make my food, I expected much better quality. Honestly, if you can avoid this place, do it. If you CAN'T, just starve. Starving is probably better than eating the food.

Food arrived in a timely manner. The lemon chicken was practically floating in oil. The chicken chow mein was terrible. It was just a bunch of noodles with a tiny amount of bean sprouts, like maybe 6 and a few chunks of chicken sprinkled on top. We couldn't eat very much of it. We threw it out. Even the fortune cookies were old and stale. This is the worst Chinese food we have ever had.

A shockingly hidden gem of a chinese restaurant. Went in at what would be a dinner rush anywhere else, and my mother and I were the only patrons there. The food was great, and the portions were MASSIVE. The decorum was very nice as well.
I'm genuinely shocked as to how this place isn't more popular.

Food was absolutely great, but ordered 1 combo, a spring roll and egg roll and ended up having to pay $60 for a massive amount of chow mein and sweet and sour pork due to the server being unable to understand English. Wrong food, wrong price, do not recommend unless you understand mandarin
