I came here for the first time today and my oh my it's like stepping into heaven. The gentleman behind the counter was very sweet and let us try a sample of a delicious dessert. We will definitely be coming back the food is great and priced very fairly. Can't wait to enjoy more tasty treats!

This is a quaint market with street front parking. Going through the doors will take your breath away. The assortment includes: specialty oils, olives, assorted and delicious condiments, dried fruit and nuts, cheeses and baked goods. Everything is amazing. Take your time and wander through. The owner greeted us warmly and gave us great suggestions. This is a MUST if you're local or visiting!

I visited this store every time when coming to Nanaimo. The owner is very welcoming and just a nice person and the store is very pretty. It has foods from Italy, Greece, Tunisia, Turkey, Egypt and they go from fresh (cheeses, salami, baklava etc) to jars of pickles, sotto olio, condiments, nurs&seeds, spice of all types, rice, halva, polenta, pasta and the list goes on. You should go check this one out while on your walk on the seawall (it's just one street up from the seawall level).

My spouse (Lebanese) and I were snooping around Nanaimo on a daytrip. We have been a little disappointed with the Arab food options in Victoria and had just had a pitiful meal at Pita Land down the street; stopping by here before heading home was a pleasant surprise that made the whole trip worth it. Well-appointed store, many imported products from across the Mediterranean, very friendly and attentive service from the owner. We purchased quality olive oil, sujuk, peppers and spices and other such yummy delights that we needed to make homemade lebanese food. Thank you!

We stopped in this past weekend on a visit to Nanaimo and were blown away! We have already told so many people about this amazing, Mediterranean market/café. It is small but mighty and the owner is lovely. When you walk in, you are met with the most beautiful, fresh, authentic foods (fresh, dried, preserved, jarred, frozen, etc), and ingredients. It smells amazing, it looks incredible and we could have spent hours in there. Everything we purchased was amazing and tasted like a trip to the Mediterranean. A must if you are in Nanaimo!
