It's a McDonald's the only thing that's impressive is that there are nice employees there.
There's a man, he's east indian or Middle Eastern, working the morning shift very early, like 6:30 am, it's pouring rain very, very bad one of the worst I've ever seen.
I Can't seem to find my wallet, when I get up to the window, I am visibly frustrated and hungry I think I lost my wallet, and I end up having to pull over to the side of the parking lot got out of the pouring rain, and I finally found it, thank god! So I quickly go back into line, which sucked, but when I got up to the widow he gave me an extra pop because of my bad day and even though it's a trivial thing, he sympathized, and I just thought that was so humanitarian of him.
Thanks for the extra pop buddy, it did not go unnoticed and made a great impact.I appreciate it.

I ordered the Big Arch for the first time. When I opened the box, my burger was already falling apart because it wasn't placed in the box flat. Then trying to eat it while holding it together was a disaster. I threw away half of it because I couldn't keep a hold on my slippery, thrown together burger.

I got a sausage mcmuffin, with fries. My husband got 2 burgers, fries and a drink. I kid you not, ALL the food was stale and the fries tasted soooo stale and mushy like they hadn't been cooked all the way. Customer service was not good, everyone there is so rude and wants you gone asap. Not going here again. EVERY TIME we go there, food is stale. Waste of money

The parksville mcdonalds allows me to substitute an English muffin for a mcgridle but this mcdonalds location on bowen rd won't let me....

Of all the McDonalds of Nanaimo, this is the location to go to. They run this location like a tight ship in contrast to the other McDonalds in town. Rarely are orders incorrect and if they are, they are quite apologetic and eager to make the correction. Good location, polite service and well kept/clean. 4/5
Relatively clean for a McDonald's. Staff were friendly, and coffee was good.

Came here to grab some breakfast before I left for work early in the morning and the drive through had dairy crates in front of it. The doors were also locked. So much for being open 24 hours. Next time I need breakfast I won’t bother with this place

The best McDonald's in Nanaimo, by far. The fries are always fresh, the burgers are put together properly and they are always the fastest drive through, (last trip took THREE minutes!) even when the line is long. The staff is as great as the food, definitely my favorite McDonalds, and worth the drive down
Worst customer service I have had in years. Terrible attitude from staff and supervisors over a simple and very minor issue. Apparently McDonald’s doesn’t care at All about customer concerns or satisfaction. Ray Croc would be ashamed.
