We were able to look out over the harbour and it’s a beautiful view. The food is always high quality and I appreciate the gf options. We have always had excellent service as well. Looking forward to our next visit.

Spouse went for early dinner. Seafood pasta and service was good but he was put off by the mouse running around the restaurant and the annoying fruit flies. He mentioned it to the staff and they didn’t seem too concerned about the mouse. He won’t be back for any meal.

My bf got a nice room with a soaker tub it’s fantastic I really enjoyed it. We also had a great meal in the restaurant of the hotel and Gordon was serving us he has excellent customer service he’s really good worker made us enjoy our experience. We’ll definitely come here again.

We had breakfast this morning at Minnoz and it was great the staff was superb and our server Erika was awesome and attentive, made us feel welcome. We definitely will be back whenever we're in town to try the prime rib !

Prime Rib dinner perfection for under $50! Both the mid-rare and well-done cuts were delicious, the au jus, horseradish cream sauce, yorkie and sides were top quality. My friend is still raving too.

Our favorite place to be on our wedding anniversary, we are from town and able to call in no problem and made reservations to sit Harbour view, I didn't get out waiters name tonight (I forgot) but he was absolutely amazing and very tentative. The food was delicious and we will always be back Thanks so much again😊✨️

So im compiled to write this review after this last experience.
Ive dined here multiple times while staying at the coast as well as while im just passing through. I have ordered pick up on numerous occasions.
Today while driving back from parkville i thought id order a burger for my ferry ride home because they have always been great here, and to much dismay the person on the phone would not let me order for take out? Uhm hello? Ive never heard of a resteraunt doing this and ive had take out from them multiple times. Not impressed.

Had customers visiting for 2 hours in downtown Nanaimo and thought this place would be adequate. I had the maple infused quinoa bowl…….. literally an ice cream sized tasteless scoop of quinoa, pinch of carrot and awful pickled onion……..horrible for $21. My wife had a chief salad $24 ……..basically a bed of a small salad with a few small bites of chicken; and short of items as advertised ( 4 small cherry tomatoes on the perimeter topped poor quality bottled dressing). Customers salmon burgers were fine. I really cannot comprehend a to how they can allow these dishes to be served if in fact this is the quality standard. Refrained from making an issue in front of customers. Waitress very friendly and attentive. Never again!

We had dinner at Minnoz, part of Coast Bastion Hotel. The espresso martini was delicious. The Beef Dip was ok. Meat was cold the bread was just a bit too small & the dressing for the house salad is a very tangy vinaigrette, very good but was heavy handed. The peppercorn steak was a menu recommendation and it was nicely done. The atmosphere had live piano and a singer.
