A very busy Fathers Day ....even reserving for 4:30 pm. We were offered a high table which I cannot manage. I had asked for standard seating when I reserved. The hostess was very accommodating and offered us a regular table. Once we asked, one of the staff supplied coasters to steady up our table as it was rocking badly. We sat for a very long time without anyone greeting or offering drinks. A man I assume was the manager finally came and apologized for the delay and took our drink order. A lovely server, Kennedy, then took over and was excellent. Our food was the usual delicious....if a bit cold. I appreciate it was a very busy day and you were basically slammed.

One of the greatest restaurant experiences in nanaimo, and even the island. Food was smokey, and delicious, atmosphere was super rustic, and honestly the staff we're energetic, and attentive. 11/10 going to go again

We usually have great service by the staff, but this time the waitress assigned to us, for my son's birthday dinner seemed avoidant, & didn't seem too keen being in the service industry. Although, the hostesses & kitchen staff & other wait staff were superb. Our waitress seemed to keep their distance from our table, and another waitress was super kind to take our family group pictures. The only time our assigned waitress seemed somewhat friendlier than usual & lingered by was when it was time to pay the bill. Food was delicious & excellent.

I love going to Montanas to eat. The food is always excellent and service is awesome. This time I booked our table by online reservation and it was such a good decision. We walked right in to our table. Got served right away and our food came at a decent time considering it was super busy. I would recommend them to all of family and friends.

Requested a certain table as it was my late daughters birthday. We always sat at this table with her when we went to Montanas. Plenty of empty tables, but they did not hold the one I had requested. No cutlery when the food was served. No condiments at the table. Had to request condiments. Lights and wiring to the lights had lots of dust accumulating. Needs a good cleaning.
