A very busy Fathers Day ....even reserving for 4:30 pm. We were offered a high table which I cannot manage. I had asked for standard seating when I reserved. The hostess was very accommodating and offered us a regular table. Once we asked, one of the staff supplied coasters to steady up our table as it was rocking badly. One of the greatest restaurant experiences in nanaimo, and even the island. Food was smokey, and delicious, atmosphere was super rustic, and honestly the staff we're energetic, and attentive. 11/10 going to go again

We usually have great service by the staff, but this time the waitress assigned to us, for my son's birthday dinner seemed avoidant, & didn't seem too keen being in the service industry. Although, the hostesses & kitchen staff & other wait staff were superb. Our waitress seemed to keep their distance from our table, and another waitress was super kind to take our family group pictures.
