Finally stopped in to try the Gangsta Chicken Sandwich, as it had been raved about to me by my brother. Let me tell you, it loved up to the hype. Juicy, perfectly battered and in an incredible sauce. Yummy hoagie style bun, a different sauce on the bun, pickles and cabbage. Fantastic. Seriously, and I am tough to please. Inside the restaurant is a little spartan, no music, and not a lot of atmosphere, but they seem to primarily aim for takeout. Try this sandwich. I wish I had a picture to show you, but I ate it too fast.

The best fried chicken on Vancouver Island, the best I've ever had in all honesty. The owners are also amazing people and I've always felt comfortable and happy at Nandas. Not to mention, very affordable for the amount and quality of food you get! Try the Gangsta sandwich! It's absolutely delicious

I went to the restaurant and I was waiting someone to serve me, but the waiter was busy speaking with someone maybe a customer and we waited for 10 minutes and no one served us the menu so we decided to leave and we felt offensive

This is one of the greatest places to eat in Nanaimo. Great prices, portions, and wonderful people. We order for a men's group and they have no problem filling larger orders same day with a few hours notice. We have tried every kind of their chicken and I can't pick a favorite they are all incredible. When I go with my partner who is vegetarian she loves the soy mock chicken option or gets the gangster sandwich with the soy option. The best!!!!
