I recently ordered the Butter Chicken Rice at Noodle Box, and it was absolutely amazing! The dish was flavorful and packed with a generous amount of tender chicken. The portion size was perfect, and each bite was a delight. A big shoutout to Shakil, who provided excellent service and made the experience even better. The ambiance is warm and inviting, which makes it the ideal spot for enjoying good food in a comfortable setting. Highly recommend Noodle Box – tasty food and a great vibe!

Building is dirty, floors are nearly constantly sticky. Customer service is especially mediocre. I would rather take the food outside to eat off a bench than sit inside.
The food is typically a coin flip between bland noodles in a bowl made to appear like food, and the best dish you'll ever have. I wish there was more consistency in my bi-daily 16$ slot machine.

Compared to every other noodlebox I’ve been to which is probably around 8-10 locations this one has an off taste to it as well as very bland looking colour.
Went out of my way to get a spicy peanut noodlebox to eat in line for ferry and that first bite was a big disappointment. Had I been eating in the location I would have said something but I’m stuck with it. At least I am able to warn others.

Countless disappointments with the south Nanaimo location. Update: Continued bad experiences, don't recommend. I don't know why I expect it to get better, I guess I just have fond memories of the older locations in Victoria. I ordered online and left a tip in advanced, wish I could get my tip back.

Just that the restaurant is in a bit "rough" area. Had Tofu Pad Thai with zucchini noodles. Amazing. My husband's go to are spicy peanut noodles with chicken...As a family of four we paid around $70 with one drink. Special treat for us visiting Nanaimo.
