The brisket was dry as a… use your favourite metaphor. Basically a small cafeteria posing as a restaurant. Portions were small, substitutions were expensive and the soups tasted canned.

The food is really delicious and very well priced. Our server was really good.

Thank you, Matt and the girls, for a wonderful dinner and the fabulous service tonight. My husband and I both had the 2 piece cod fish and chips. The fish was fresh with lovely crispy batter, and the chips were perfect. The portions are huge.
The mango cheesecake was absolutely delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit tonight and left with big smiles on our faces. It's wonderful to have a restaurant where everything on the menu is gluten free.

Very friendly staff (shoutout to Amber), and great location. The food was delicious, decently priced and good portions. The only drawback was that it seemed to be a bit understaffed but that didn’t change service quality. Also for those who may be confused like we were: booking occurs over the phone, the website booking does not work.

Their fish are fresh, you can tell with every bite😋 locally owned business stuffed with goodness and friendly crew.

Basic decor and a deck, but no view. Wonderful, deep-fried cod, crispy coating, and creamy fish. We had the Chocolate Ganache dessert and was disappointed. I expected a creamy center, but it was a rather dry cake.

The server told us that all items are gluten-free.

The food was great and the service was excellent. They were so kind and hospitable. You’d never know that their menu is gluten free entirely and is a haven for celiacs. I wish I lived closer so I could come every week.

Delicious selection of gluten free foods - such a treat to be able to eat anything on the menu! Very kid-friendly as well. The slaw is so good that my 4yo wolfed it down :)

so good we went both days we were in Nanaimo. Best GF fish and chips we've had. Plus everything out of the kitchen is GF.
