Off The Hook Surf Turf Smokery

Ordered the lettuce wrapped prawns for $22. Was very disappointed. In the three small wraps there was a single small prawn cut into two and mostly deep fried rice noodles to fill up the wraps. When I asked the server if 3 prawns seemed like the correct amount, she informed me that seafood was expensive. That was my second attempt at this restaurant and will be my last.

I got their steak sandwich. I asked for medium rare... it came well done. And that was the best part of the sandwich. I also asked for sautéed mushrooms... they looked like they came from a can of Money's ... they were not cooked at all. I will not go back.

I ordered the Prawn Lettuce Wrap and the Classic Cheesburger. The lettuce wrap, cooked well, presentation good, but it just didnt pop for me, it tasted just fine, just a little...boring for me.

The Classic Cheeseburger was a BEAST! great bun, big ol slab of beef patty, this burger felt heavy in your hands, you have the option of adding pork belly which I should've added. Once you dig in, have plenty of napkins because it gets messy! Loved it! The fries were just fries, so not important lol.

I will be swinging around to this establishment again to try out some of their other fare. Suggest you check them out too.

We went at a slow time of day. Being the only table being served the experience felt less than enthusiastic.
We must have orderd the wrong things (brisket) as it didn't compare to the reviews I've read.
Will try again!

The brisket was dry as a… use your favourite metaphor. Basically a small cafeteria posing as a restaurant. Portions were small, substitutions were expensive and the soups tasted canned.

The food is really delicious and very well priced. Our server was really good.
