A very disappointing experience , on the upside the location is cool! The service and the food were mediocre at best. We had to wait 5-10 min for someone to take our drink order and give us water (it wasn’t busy when we first got there) I had the snapper tacos, probably the worst I have ever had, just no flavour at all, nothing to kick it up a notch like a sauce or a tasty slaw. Just plain boring. My friend had the marg and she thought that was v good 8/10, so maybe a good place to go for a marg and share a plate of nachos, or maybe just the marg!

Great place for lunch. The fish tacos were delish. Highly recommend getting the salad as a side dish it was flavorful and fresh. Also tried a spicy pineapple Mock-tail it was refreshing and I'm 100% sure would of been even better with tequila in it.

Lovely spot in Nanaimo, right on the water! Has character to it, and the food is solid! While it didn’t necessarily feel like I was in Mexico, it did hit enough of the right notes to make me feel that I might be in a place slightly nicer than Nanaimo!

Food is delicious! really fresh and a decent portion. I had snapper tacos and salad. Salad dressing is soooo good! Service was OK. Nice to sit on the water. Margaritas were a bit bland & not really worth the price.....maybe if they were fun and fancy! Overall we do love this place.
Stopped in for a late dinner. Jordan, my server was friendly and fun to chat with. I had the Hibiscus lime margarita.... highly recommend btw, and the chipotle chicken burrito bowl. It was lovely to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view of the harbour

We decided to try this restaurant for the first time double date with friends, we had reservations we were seated quickly, but after being seated waited 15 -20 minutes till waitress even said anything- be with you soon then another 7mins to take drink order - notciced other tables received complimentary chips & salsa we eventually ( would have been nice sooner maybe wouldn't have felt ignored, as I'm management in work industry, understand this is a small restaurant having only one waitress running the whole dining room while that busy she was overwhelmed 😧 eventually she took our drink and food order, Food was tasty but definitely small portions for the price .... Our waitress only cheacked on us once the whole service almost at the end and then received water..... Would have sold more drinks if had cheacked on customers sooner , once received bill 💵 told to pay at front so our friend did then we left , 10 minutes later as we did waitress ran after us hey did i take you're money - Rude ..... Very unprofessional, not personal

What an amazing experience, the ambiance of this restaurant is so good, a floating restaurant, with just an amazing staff including our waitress Mary. We ordered a shared Nachos, this was one of the best Nachos out there, complete with fresh guacamole. We also ordered spawn tacos, Holy Guacamole tacos and carne asada tacos. All tacos come with 3, but they are loaded with extras, very filling. Definitely recommend this restaurant when visiting Nanaimo.
