Pita Pit is hands down one of my favorite spots for a quick, healthy, and delicious meal! The ingredients are always super fresh, and I love that you can completely customize your pita just the way you like it. The staff are always friendly, patient, and happy to make recommendations if you’re not sure what to get. My go-to is the chicken souvlaki pita with lots of veggies and their amazing sauces—it’s always packed with flavor and never disappoints. The restaurant is clean, service is fast, and the portions are generous for the price. Whether you’re eating in or grabbing something on the go, Pita Pit is a great choice for anyone who wants something tasty and nutritious. Highly recommend!

As a celiac, it was very nice to visit Pita Pit. The staff was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and the allergy list was available immediately upon entering. The staff was very friendly and patient, and having never been there before and being celiac, it eliminated so much anxiety and stress that I often feel visiting new restaurants. And of course my pita was SO GOOD. Yummy! Fresh veggies, flavourful meat, and the condiments were fantastic. The gluten free pita was so soft, you wouldn't even guess it was gluten free! I love being able to add a great, affordable option to the fairly limited fast food establishments I can eat at. Next time I'm in Nanaimo, I'll be stopping by again! Watching the two men both work on the same pita while ignoring me was frustrating. They were talking about their work ethic, how hard they work, how many hrs they work. I couldn’t see it… Definitely a different vibe and service compared to the previous workers.

The new gluten free pita's end up being a torn pile of pita that falls apart, not only while being wrapped in the restaurant but after the fact it gets worse.
The old ones were definitely worth the extra money spent on gluten free products. Unfortunately, the new ones are not.
Thoroughly disappointed in the food here. Cleanliness was lacking and I would definitely never return.
