Wednesday night crew, Brittany especially are absolutely phenomenal, amd the regulars are great. Quarterway burger is worth a shot for anyone who likes burgers, one of the best I've ever had. Great spot, great atmosphere, great music.

Unless you want to get kicked out for no reason, do not come here, we got kicked out for an open bottle, the claim was crown Royale....none of us even bought crown Royale and they kicked us out while we where outside, just because one of your patrons before us had crown Royale and left at our table does not mean we did it, not even asking if it was ours, not even coming up and telling us to our face was completely disrespectful, at a time when local business should be a big part of our daily lives, the idea that I'm so disgusted by one of them is completely sad and unpatriotic, it's disappointing to have to tell this story to others, but I felt it my civic responsibility to let anyone know when they come to this pub this is what they cosign on. There are plenty of other exceptional bars in Nanaimo to try and enjoy, next time please be adults and have discussions with people

I had the Cod fish and chips, it was excellent! good flavour and nice spice on the fries. The coleslaw and tartar sauce came in little recyclable containers (yay). Service was Great! especially given I wasn't drinking and had gone alone.

Had to kill a couple of hours while car was being served. Sat up at bar, and had a few laughs with the locals. It was basic soup and sandwich for lunch. No complaints about that. I'd come in again

Just went yesterday for a sneaky pint which was served promptly and nice and cold. Guy beside us had a massive platter of wings - 40 to be exact - he ate 22 of ‘em, saving the last ones for next days lunch 😀

Good old fashioned pub. Comfortable and relaxing. Friendly service.
Had a good time. Service was great. The chicken coconut curry was spicier than I wanted but I still enjoyed it. One of our group had poutine and felt it was too salty.

This isn't a horrible place. Had some good karaoke nights here. Food can be hit or miss sometimes.
However it seems they are under new management or making some changes.
.95 cents for a pickup fee though????
That is one of the sleaziest ways of getting money on-top of the fact that you had already raised the price of food. You don't have to serve the food to a table, deliver it or do any other such work other than cook it.
I will not be back with disgusting money grab scams like that.

We went here last night with five people we all had dinner. Everybody loved their dinner. The food was great. I had the teriyaki rice bowl. It was delicious. My husband had a burger. It was very good. We also had really good service from Mel,Amy and Nate(?), and karaoke was awesome. I will definitely be back. Thanks so much to the pub staff for doing such a great job.
