An enjoyable sports and social lounge, staff usually willing to put on my game of choice. Head Chef Tom puts intention into weekly specials and an edible menu. Michelle and staff bring a touch of class and personal connection to the experience.
I came in on my own, on a busy wendsday at supper rush, and sat myself down at a table, because the bar was full. The waitress quickly served me and was more then friendly, but welcoming, like a friend I havent seen in years. She told me about wingnight and was accomadating to my obnoxious hotwing antics without hesitation, and the wings were cheaper then I've seen anywhere in years. Makes me sad that this kind of environment is rare these days.
Well haven't been or eaten at the Quarterway Pub since before covid . Was in the area so we thought why not ? Glad we did. Appetizers deep fried coliflower and zucchini ( lightly dusted with curry powder different but lovely ) and calamari ( was cooked correctly ) . My sister had the single clubhouse / kettle fries which she said was more than enough. I had the Quarterway burger with onion rings. You can definitely tell the patty was made in-house , it was an excellent burger....
