We visited Nanaimo in August 2024 and stopped into Red's. Of course we had to get the Nanaimo bars, which were delicious!! But we also got the sausage roll, strawberry cheesecake, Nanaimo cheesecake and some kind of pastry (sorry! I forget what it was called) with spinach and cheese. OMG everything was sooo good! 10/10! the service was also great and friendly. We'll be coming back next time we're in Nanaimo.

I’ve heard reds has many gluten free options but never expected them to have a gluten free bread pudding the woman at the counter Sarah said she was the one who made it and I’m really glad I went with her recommendation as it was the best bread pudding I’ve had in a long time

Just came for a late night treat with my fiance and daughter.. amazing cheesecake selection.. they make it the way my grandmother used to make it.. Gluten free options were fantastic even though their wasn't much for the time we came which is understandable. The lady was super nice, relaxed atmosphere.. you guys will be my #1 stop for cheesecake now.

Sarah the gluten free baker is absolutely fabulous. She has made us gluten and dairy free dessert platters, a beautiful birthday cake. We just started buying her Gluten free bread and it’s amazing! She even had a cinnamon raisin loaf. Shortbread cookies dipped in chocolate . She is seriously the best! She is very open to trying anything we ask for. We sure appreciate her. ❤️

service was so incredibly kind!! apologized for the wait (when there was none at all), asked us how we enjoyed the cheesecakes. the cheesecakes? incredibly. sooo good. not too rich and decadent, and great portion size. awesome that they’re open all night too! the atmosphere was cute, the quotes on the walls were inspiring, and there were seating options.
