Got a combo A 2 choices got 4 or 5 chicken balls and a handful size of chow main for 20$ way over priced for the price will not return 🤔 waste of money

I ordered Uber eats for my girlfriend and when she received the order, it had spilt during the delivery. When she got the food, there was barely any soup left. On top of that, the vegetables tasted raw and the rest of the ingredients tasted undercooked including the chicken.

Always a good buffet. Nice variety of choices. Prawns and mussels were very nice. Dessert was a hit. Attentive staff. Private dining room too.

We have been customers at Shanghai City for 15 years, but after today, won’t be returning. During dinner, I was shocked to see a mouse run under a booth. At first I thought I was being dramatic until I saw there are two other mouse-related reviews in the last month, with no replies from the owners. It’s extremely concerning that this hasn’t been properly and more aggressively addressed.

The poor staff were so courteous and apologetic, noting that this is a known issue- We were given 10% off in compensation (a normal discount if you pick up an order and pay cash but thanks I guess...) A discount at all was a surprise because no way would I have made someone pay for a meal after seeing that.

Food safety and cleanliness are expected standards in any dining establishment and while rodents will always be a problem, seeing one in the dining area, in the furthest corner from the kitchen indicates a BIG problem. I hope management takes immediate action to resolve this, for the sake of their customers and their reputation.

Not worth 30 dollars per person buffett. Food had only 10 items not 110 items as advertised. Terrible food and expensive. Do not go!

My husband and I came to have the dinner buffet at 7:00pm. The website says it is served from 4:30 to 8:30 pm. Upon arrival we were told that the buffet was winding down. The food was not fresh, and the pans less then half full. We only had one plate worth of food each, we decided we were not happy with it and we're ready to leave. Being $28 a person we wanted to dispute the price. We were willing to pay for a portion but we're rudely told no by management. We were being very reasonable with our attitudes but got the opposite. Horrible customer service. Was offered the senior discount which is $1 off. Absolutely pathetic. We ended up paying the full price. If you have it posted that you're buffet runs to 8:30, then you SERVE FRESH FOOD until then. Do not recommend.

Great dinner buffet. Highlights are the salt and pepper squid, mussels, beef with mushrooms, fried rice, green beans, and the potstickers. Had yummy donuts with ice cream for dessert. Some not so great items such as the siu mai and curried chicken, but the good stuff makes up for it. They also give you chilli oil if you ask for it. Nice light and airy donuts with ice cream for dessert. Price is reasonable. Would definitely come back!

Great food really dated inside

Mice running around while we were eating. Disgusting.
And the waiter rushed us out as we were chatting the place was practically empty and we were only there 20 mins

Price for kids is ridiculous

The dinner for eight was delicious. The service from the female waitress was amazing. She was kind, non demanding and friendly. In other words the male server was rude, arrogant thinking he deserves more of a tip, and demanding a higher tip. At the start, the dinner and service was good, but then the male server made it a terrible experience at the end.

They have mice running around booths and are still open and serving food.

Had the seafood tofu pot tonight，super tasty! The tofu was silky, fish crispy outside and tender inside, and the sauce was just right. Great service and nice atmosphere—calm, cozy, not noisy at all. Will come again!
